This was an adorable 1 bedroom cottage in a quiet cottage community. The on-demand hot water was a bonus. The owner was very responsive, and check-in was seamless. I would recommend to anyone.
Great little cabin to stay in while visiting the sites near Boothbay. The property owner was very attentive to our needs and we had no issues. We had a lovely stay!
The cabin was clean, check-in and check-out were as could be and the host was great! The cabin is a bit over crowded in terms of furniture and decor but nothing to complain about! Great stay in beautiful Maine!
This Edgecomb Cottage is so welcoming. The hosts have created a relaxing space that provides all that is needed for a very pleasant stay. Attention to detail is evident from good lighting to comfy bedding to our favorite coffee creamer. We would happily stay again.
very clean comfortable and quiet we enjoyed how cozy it felt when we got back at night. we would for stay here again if we ever get back to the area. the communication with the host was a#5 out of 5
The cabin was just as advertized. Very cute with everything we needed. Located in the middle of everything in southern coastal Maine. We had a great time despite the tropical storm!
This was my second time staying at one of the cabins, so we knew what to expect. We really like the location as it puts you within easy reach of Damariscotta, Boothbay and Pemaquid. The place is comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was pretty easy. Really liked having the Keurig for coffee in the morning. Was able to have an outdoor fire and toast some marshmallows. Light sleepers take note: for some reason the highway noise (which we barely noticed the first year we stayed here), was more noticeable than in past years, but still not enough to keep me awake.
The cottage was an ideal place for 2. It was newly renovated, everything fresh and clean. Linens and towels were very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor area and cooking dinner on the gas grill. The owner was very responsive and quickly answered all emails.
Such a cute and quaint little cottage in Edgecomb! It was a great escape from hectic city life, but with the conveniences of restaurants, gas stations, and a grocery store near by. Jeff is a great host and made sure our needs were met. 10/10 would recommend!
Comfy and Cozy, this little cottage was like a warm hug throughout my stay. Furnishings and living spaces are thoughtfully styled and welcome a relaxing stay.. The Kitchenette has all the conveniences necessary to prepare meals if a guest stays in and is adequate for the Maine rain keeps you cottage-bound.. The location is ideal, in close proximity to Wiscasset and easy ride to Rockland and Camden. My Host, Jeff's cool, collected style was the cherry on top.
Cottage 2 is a comfy, inviting little house full of charm. The location is convenient for travelers who enjoy town-jumping. Nearby Wiscasset, Damariscotta, and Boothbay will not disappoint. The infamous Red Eats to get your fill of Lobstah, a nice treat at Round Top ice cream too cool off, and the sweetest shops in Boothbay...everything at your fingertips. The nicest close to a wonderful day is returning to Cottage 2; well-appointed, cozy, and that a-a-a-h feeling of going home..
My wife and I are seniors and we stayed 4 nights.Very convenient access to Boothbay Harbor (15 to 20 minute drive) and Route 1 to points north and south. There was some traffic noise from Route 1 during the day, but very quiet at night. We had an initial issue, but Jeff immediately communicated back to us and the issue was fixed the next morning by a very friendly property maintenance guy named Mike. We were appreciative. A/C worked great and one evening we needed a tad of heat and that too worked great. Again, can’t say enough about communication of the host, Jeff.My wife and I would stay there again.

Cottage 2
The cottage is small, fine for two people, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated with good quality equipment. For serious cooks, the lack of a full stove may be in issue, but the cottage does have a plug-in two-burner stovetop and a panini maker. The one drawback for me was the noise from the nearby highway--not pleasant to sit outside. Jeff, our host, was terrific: friendly, concerned and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay. All was as expected. Jeff the host was in touch and helpful. My only suggestion would be a bit of decluttering. The cottage is wonderfully decorated, but we found ourselves having to move furniture and decor in order to get around. In particular in the bedroom there is no room for a suitcase, as there is a big comfy chair just under the open closet. It didn't impact our stay, but it made the place feel a little full.
The location is great.
We originally booked and were charged for this cottage in August, Payment was actually remitted in Sept. (a month prior to usage) Upon arrival we found the property to be in a rather unattended condition without any working internet, wireless, or cable televisions utilities The fire pit and grill appeared unusable In their present condition.
After having just finishing radiation therapy, it would have been much too uncomfortable living in the environment offered. There appears to be some misunderstanding as to a potential refund. Please advise.

I was sorry about your husbands health. That is what you said was the reason for your cancelation.
