The view and location were amazing. Far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing and yet still close to Bar Harbor, restaurants and anything else you need.

The house needs a little bit of attention to make it more appealing especially the curb appeal. However, the location so close to the water and made up for it. We loved the peacefulness and beauty of being right on the water with just a 15-minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
Cozy home. Gorgeous view. Thought having no air conditioning would be a problem but apparently not during end of August. Great book collection. Very responsive host. Great value for your money!
We had an amazing time at Acadia NP and enjoyed our stay at Eagles Aerie! Everything was as advertised and clean. The location was perfect for day trips!! The house was private and so serene!! We spent our days out and about and enjoyed coming back to the house and relaxing!

We are happy that we could provide you with a relaxing home during your vacation! Thank you for staying with us!
We had a great time staying here. The home is gorgeous and it's right on the water. Check in could not have been easier. The host was incredibly responsive when I had questions. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
Our family stayed here for a week, and we love to this bright, happy house. Location is great. The property manager was responsive and helpful. The property does need a little upkeep but nothing serious. The dryer and dishwasher weren't working great for us. Be reviews talking about the yard meeting a little maintenance are accurate, but it isn't a deal-breaker.
Offers secluded relaxation and easy access to all MDI has to offer.
The contemporary secluded cabin in the woods was absolutely perfect for our mom & daughter trip to explore MDI.
It’s a quick drive in any direction for food, shopping, excursions. I honestly would have liked to stay longer just to relax in this beautiful home & location. The forest surrounding the home is just beautiful. It’s a quick walk to the waters edge. One of my favorite places to be at sunset.
The home has everything you need to cook or grill out. Update appliances. Everything worked.
It is a reverse floor plan, so there are stairs involved to get to the main living space, which wasn’t an issue for us.
We had a fabulous time.

Bar harbor Waterfront
The location of the house was about a 20 minute ride to the center of Bar Harbor. It was a nice quiet place to get away.
The house itself was disappointing. The couch and chair were so dirty we had to put a flat sheet over them to sit without being grossed out. The rug was stained as well.
The deck was awesome. Beautiful view of the inlet.
The bathroom was acceptable except that the shower needs a new diverter. It took several tries to get the water to come out of the shower head.
Clearly the grounds have not been cared for in some time. The paths to the water front were pretty much overgrown.
With a little TLC, the house would be great place to stay but not in its current state.
