1-BR apt 0.5-mile to Acadia National Park & 1-mile to downtown
This 1BR apt is centrally located for great hiking, dining, and golfing. Ravens' Perch sits atop our detached 2-car garage, with its own enclosed entrance and outside parking spaces. The apartment is pet-friendly and a standard pet fee of $50 is initiated when you check that you are bringing a pet when booking.
There are stairs leading up to the apartment, so guests must be comfortable and able to climb. The apartment has a studio feel, but does have a separate bedroom for privacy. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a futon in the living room. Wifi allows for Amazon and Apple tv streaming. The kitchen space is small, but well equipped for most needs, including an oven. The bathroom has a shower and a washer/dryer unit. The unit is cooled/heated by a heat pump, so there is air conditioning available in the warmer months.
There is a (very) small side yard space for your use only, with a charcoal grill and propane fire pit. We have two river kayaks (only safe for freshwater) that you are welcome to borrow, but you must have means of transporting them (we do have foam supports and straps for your rack if need be).
The location is great, being a short (~8 min) bike ride to Acadia National Park's network of carriage paths, and an easy walk to town (~10-15 mins) so you can avoid parking fees. The Island Explorer passes right by the property, which will take you all over the island for free. There is a local seafood shop (Parson's) 4 doors down that is great for cooking at home, and Kebo Golf Course is practically next door.

Great location to downtown bar harbor and Acadia park entrance. Property was very well equipped and clean. Owner was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations of the area. Definitely would stay again if in the area.
Charming apartment, clean and well appointed, hosts have been thoughtful in providing all the things you need during a stay, very clear instructions and binder with lots of good suggestions, host very responsive with any questions or concerns. Central location in Acadia, walking distance to Bar Harbor restaurants and shops.
We had a fantastic stay! The accommodations were so clean and comfortable, and really nicely decorated! The location was fantastic being so close to both the park and the town. We loved being able to walk into Bar Harbor!
Great location to both the park and Bar harbor (5 min drive to the park and 15 min walk to downtown) with parking! Clean place, would absolutely stay here again
Such a well stocked comfortable place in a great location. Easy to walk to town or jump on the Island Explorer. A half block to grab fresh seafood and bring it back to cook. Excellent communication with host.
We had a great stay, the place had everything you could need and it was very clean. The location was also great, walking distance to Bar Harbor but also very close to all of the popular places in Acadia. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.

This was the perfect spot to venture into Acadia each day and downtown to eat each night. 100% recommend, and I’ve never dealt with a more kind and helpful host!
This place is a gem. Great location and easily walkable into Bar Harbor. The apartment had all we needed and more. The hosts met us on arrival and were very helpful.
We would highly recommend this accommodation.
Great location close to town and the park. The apartment has everything you need and is very comfortable. Our dog Sergio loved the biscuits and paw print towels.
We loved staying here. It was a short walk to downtown and super convenient location to the park. Grocery store is less than a mile away and a few restaurants are very close, too. The space had wonderful morning light and the hospitality for us and our pets did not go unnoticed.

I meant to respond, but I seem to have forgotten! We very much enjoyed hosting you, and appreciated your insights. We especially appreciated that you mailed back the reusable ziplock baggies - very considerate of you!
We couldn’t have had a better experience! The apartment is clean and felt like home! It was fully stocked with kitchen tools, spices, bathroom and laundry necessities, as well as dog blankets, toys and bowls which we really appreciated for our little guy! So many cute details and it was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking/exploring! Great location to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We loved it, will be back in the future!
