Modern Studio Apartment on the River

Charming, clean efficiency apartment located right on the river trail. Available for long term (30 days+). One mile walk into town and the hot springs. In the summer, enjoy a nice outside patio area for enjoying the sound of the river, the views of the mountains, and relaxing (too chilly in the winter so patio area is winterized) Guests have their own separate entrance from the upstairs tenants and living quarters. Space is perfect for one or two people. Come enjoy all of what Ouray has to offer year around - from peace and quiet or list of activities to keep you busy everyday. Email me for rates as they are based on a 30 day occupancy. I can help you customize your stay! NO cable/satellite provided. Roku set up for streaming your Netflix/Amazon Prime, etc. HDMI cable for streaming from your computer.

Beautiful Ouray

This was our third time at Michelle's house in Ouray. She is an excellent hostess and we appreciate her sharing her home on the Riverwalk with us. The studio is on the lower level of the house with a walkout to a patio. It is comfortable and clean and has everything you need for an extended stay with lots of storage space. We enjoyed the late October snow!

Great stay in Ouray

We spent a month at Michelle’s studio and loved every minute of our stay. The studio was clean, safe, in a wonderful scenic location, and stocked with anything one might need during a stay. The location is beside a city walking trail and one can walk from the studio to downtown in 10-15 minutes. Michelle was wonderful to work with and answered promptly any questions. We plan to return in the future to Michelle’s studio.

Amazing Stay! Truly a dream come true!

Michelle was an amazing host! I felt blessed to be a guest at this wonderful place in beautiful Ouray! I booked this as a gift to myself for my retirement and it definitely exceeded all my expectations:) I enjoyed my walks on the river and loved relaxing on the patio listening to the waterfalls in the majestic mountains. Lovely Gem in Ouray

My husband and I stayed for the month of June and enjoyed every minute! The space is beautifully decorated, clean and spacious for a couple. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment and the location is perfect. A big bonus is the large patio with comfy furniture and a gorgeous view of mountains. We loved being right on the river and steps away from the riverwalk which goes directly into town. Michelle was very welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Ouray is an absolutely beautiful town with wonderful, warm and friendly people! We left feeling like we made new friends, and will visit again!

Lovely studio for a mountain getaway

Michelle's place was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. right on the river with gorgeous mountain views all around, the studio was quiet, peaceful and a quick walk to the main part of town. the convection oven came in handy and I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Michelle was a great communicator as well and made the stay here effortless.

Comfort and hospitality by the river

The place is extremely comfortable, clean and beautiful decorated. The proximity to the river just makes everything nicer. The perfect combination of seclusion and accessibility. A beautiful walk by the river to town and easy access to the amazing hiking trails of Ouray. Michelle is an excellent host that honestly cares about your comfort and a super efficient answering any message. There is no real stove, but I stayed there for a month and was perfectly capable of cooking my meals using the portable stove available and the oven. It just demands a bit more of creativity and time than usual, if you use the stove a lot. Woul absolutely come back anytime!

We liked our stay here at this property. It is located right on the Uncompahgre River Walk trail about a mile from town of Ouray. We used the walking trail to town and left our vehicle parked. There are also many hiking trail heads in the Ouray area that we walked to. The studio apartment was comfortable and had a great patio. Michelle was a great host and very responsive to our messages over our month long stay. I would like to come back some time in the future to stay again. We enjoyed the Ouray and Silverton area during our month long stay.

My wife and just stayed 2 months Sep/Oct at this little gem. There is not enough room for all the good things. The Studio was perfect for us. Cozy, quiet, roomy, comfortable furniture and bed, nice size fridge which was perfect. Step outside your sliding doors to your private patio by the river. The 2 mile walking trail along the river is out your back door. The area is hard to describe due to the incredible beauty. Ouray is the Switzerland of America. Close to Silverton, Telluride, Ridgway, we were in awe of the Rocky Mountains on a daily basis. Great hiking in the area, Hot Springs Pool. The owner is a wonderful lady who really cares about her guests and making their stay comfortable. We liked it so much we are returning next year for 3 months. The studio, area and GREAT owner makes this our top stay during our travels.

Besides the post card views, the excellent small town feel, the Ouray County hospitality, the excellent sleeping weather, the abundance of wildlife, the river, the mountains, the history, and an excellent host, I can't think of anything else.

Great little nest on the river

Unbelievable location right on the river. Aspens, mountains, and stunning views. Large studio with comfortable furniture, including the bed. Walking distance to town and since it is right on the river, the river walk is right outside your door. Start your morning with coffee on the patio, into town for breakfast at Backstreet Bagel or the Artisan and then get out and enjoy all the beauty the area has to offer! Teddy Roosevelt said the beauty of the area bankrupted the English language. True. Plenty of good restaurants in Ouray. Also, 10 miles down the road in Ridgway there is Kate's Place and to die for breakfast and lunch. I have dreams about her food. Cimmaron Cafe in Ridgway also very good for dinner. Many unique shops in Ouray. Some of my favorites are Blue Pear, North Moon Gallery, Khristopher's Culinaire, Wildflower Boutique, Swiss Store, to name a few. Ouray is one of my favorite places in the world and this is a great place to take it all in. Michelle, the owner, is amazing! Check out her great little store, Blue Pear.
