Nice home, clean nice furnishings, off street parking for 3 cars!! My son slept on an air mattress on the kitchen real wood floor, he said it was awesome! He’s 50, not a kid! I would recommend this VRBO. The owner was super easy to communicate with and went above for us.
The Rock House rocked! We are all about comfort and this house hit all the bases...King mattress, shower pressure, sofa with recliners, gas fireplace. House was great for a longer stay. Kitchen was great. Host communicative and helpful. Fenced backyard with doggie door was perfect for our dog.
Soo glad we found this place! Cozy and had all the amenities like home. The yard was a very nice place to relax and play with the dog. Will definitely put the Rock House at the top of the list for the next trip. The hosts were wonderfull.
We had a fantastic stay. Place was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Location is very good as well, 5 minute drive to downtown Flagstaff, within an hour from Sedona, and about 1 1/2 hours to grand canyon south rim. Thanks to the host for letting us use their place.
This rental was very clean and very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable with great linens. Kitchen was well stocked. The yard was good for my dogs to get out for a potty break. The rental is on an intersection of two busy roads. The bigger issue for me were the stairs, there is a steep spiral staircase, made of stone to access the front door. The handrail is overgrown with bushes in places. This is definitely not a rental for anyone with any kind of mobility issues.
Great location to downtown. Perfect for small family and furry friends. House was very comfy and everything we needed for an excellent stay. Backyard was set up great for the pets. It was a little tricky finding the house at first but once we did everything was great
Beautiful home. The owners were perfectly pleasant. Super easy to find the property and access the home. The front stairs took a day to get used to going up and down. But would love to vacation here again.
Very clean house! Comfortable furniture in living room, elevated from the road. Ceiling fans in bedrooms. Fenced yard for the dog! Would definitely stay again.
Felt like home away from home. Comfortable, clean and cozy. Adorable back yard. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to returning! Thank you.
What a great place. Close to town and just far enough away! Very clean, bed was comfy with nice linens! Kitchen is well stocked. Coffee, filters, creamer and there are spices also. We really enjoyed the backyard, we bought starter logs and had a fire both nights. Our pup loved the area to just play in & a nice walking path just across the street! Street noise was not bad for us anyway. Great response time with owner!! We would for sure rent again!!
Had such a lovely stay at the The Rock House over a long holiday weekend. Our pup LOVED the yard and couldn't wait to cruise the neighborhood every morning on our walk. It was a busy holiday weekend in Flag, so we mostly stayed in over the weekend and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Both of us worked remotely and the internet worked flawlessly. Nice big windows in the living room made for an enjoyable, airy space once it got too warm to spend the day on the back patio. Having no A/C didn't bother us at all, the portable units worked fine when needed and the space cooled quickly at night. Very close access to downtown and many great trails around Mesa Observatory and the urban trail. We took advantage every morning and would absolutely stay again. Owner was very friendly, kind and responsive. Check in and check-out was about as easy as it gets! Thank you for having us!
We had a wonderful long weekend with our springer spaniel in Flagstaff. This quaint little home with a nice sitting area and yard is a fine place to spend a few days in the Flagstaff area. The location is convenient to town and the mountains and the hosts are very accommodative and obviously take pride in the property. We highly recommend this spot and will likely stay there again.
This home is beautiful, super clean, and well appointed. Although you must climb stairs to access the home, your reward is beautiful views and complete privacy. The bed and sofa are SO comfortable. Also, if you have a dog, this is the place for them! Doggy doors to a securely fenced yard with grass. The yard is gorgeous. Highly recommend, if you can handle stairs.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to so many attractions. The house was well supplied and a great place to rest and rejuvenate after busy days. Beds were comfy and the house and yard were roomy. Highly recommend!
We stayed for a week and did daily day trips to the various sites in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. This was the perfect location to launch from. The home was spacious and provided every amenity we needed. Comfortable and affordable with a very gracious host. What more could you ask for?
This was a perfect stay for the two of us and our dogs.
The owners have clearly paid attention to the things that mattered the most to us during a stay: comfortable bed, clean shower space, fenced in yard, adequate kitchen and living room—it was all very nice.
The house itself was a little mid-century and a little rustic with contemporary touches throughout, which was really a great blend overall.
Any spot has some Cons, though. The location was off a mildly busy road, so it's a quick turn with very limited space in the driveway that might prove difficult for more than one vehicle. The steps up are pretty steep, and the second bathroom is basically in a separate area in the basement. It may be a tougher stay for larger groups. For us, none of that really mattered & was easily offset by the house itself, which was excellent. We'd absolutely book it again the next time we're in Flag.
Finally: Don't sleep on the taco truck at the nearby gas station—it's phenomenal.
