It was a great place to stay (real close to my family), while celebrating Christmas with my mother, sister, bother and his family. We look forward to staying here again.
The home was very cozy, clean and perfect for our two day stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us. If I come up this way again, I will definitely consider this place again. Blessings
Couldn't be more comfortable and convenient. Well-equipped and well-provisioned, just as described. Loved the mattress and seating, and enjoyed the outdoor space. A grill would have been nice. But we needed the laundry capability more.

Since I have moved to Oklahoma, I don't get back home often. This was a perfect central location to see friends and family. Clean and neat with a perfect backyard.
Thank you Shanell and Simon!
This home is a great base for seeing the Redwoods, Avenue of Giants to the south, Trees of Mystery to the north! The house is just how described, very comfortable and it had everything we needed. The large yard is beautiful and a huge plus. It is also close to shopping and fast-food options. The hosts thought of everything. I would certainly recommend this home.
It feels like visiting family if you have family you like. :) The decor is cute/homey and a bit eclectic. The place is super clean. And the whole place is STOCKED with all you could need... except beach towels so bring your own. We were very comfortable. Communication with the host before our trip was so friendly and helpful. Truly a great place and a great host!
We used this lovely home as a "home base" while we were visiting the Redwoods. It was perfect for our family stay. The back yard was wonderful, we wish we had more time to just relax there as it was very inviting
Awesome McKinleyville Home for 4 Retired Fishermen
All of the convenience and comfort of home. Clean, spacious, beautifully large back yard and patio for relaxing. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need and appliances were great.
This house is on a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes from the grocery store and restaurants. The owners have this house well-stocked with everything you’d need except your groceries.
The yard was shockingly large and had lovely flowers, shade, and a seating area.
For anyone with fragrance sensitivities, you can smell the fragrance from cleaning products when you enter (as one would expect in a pet-friendly house with carpet), but it wasn’t overwhelming. We didn’t see any pet hair on the furniture or on us, even after playing board games in the floor with our kids.
The house was lovely and there was an abundance of storage space for clothes and personal items in the bedrooms.
We had a lovely stay in this home and hope you do the same!
This is a great place to stay when exploring the Redwood Coast and truly felt like being home. The house was exactly as listed. There is a huge yard and is located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood where you can hear the crickets chirp and the frogs croak under the stars. No complaints at all.
We have had the need to stay in McKinleyville frequently over the past year and this has become our go to location. Centrally located, spacious, clean and a great backyard.
Our stay was amazing Everything about the home was beautiful It was so well stocked with everything you could possibly need! The host was great always responded to my messages Of all the times I have used Vrbo this stay is at the top of my list! Highly recommend Five stars without a doubt!
This house is perfect for what we needed, centrally located in McKinleyville and in a quiet neighborhood. This was our second stay and we will be booking it again.
Great place to stay near Redwood National Park. Very clean, quiet, spacious, with great amenities. We really appreciated the laundry room, kitchen dining room space and cozy bedrooms to fit our family of five. We would highly recommend staying at Butterfly Cove!
We enjoyed our stay. Home is as listed and is very well kept and cleaned. The yard is wonderful as well, large and well kept. The host is kind and responsive. The garage is not accessible but we weren’t bothered much by that. We would certainly stay again.
The location was convenient and the place was very clean.
