An Unforgettable opportunity to experience Barcelona, staying in a unique design apartment. This flat has an exquisite taste. Each room has its own character giving the flat a great atmosphere.
The flat is located in Rambla Poblenou St. (pedestrian street). This street is the core of the Poblenou neighborhood (next to Eixample). There are many cafes and nice restaurants. It is one of the most commercial streets in Barcelona.
Just a few minutes on foot down the Rambla Poblenou you have the beach of Barcelona and the Olympic Harbour. On walking distance you can also visit some of the icons of Barcelona: The famous Sagrada Familia by Antonio Gaudi. From there you can walk up on Gaudi´s Ave. to the Sant Pablo’s Hospital another icon of the Art Noveau in Barcelona. The modern Agbar tower is 5 min on foot, this modern building designed by Jean Nouvel that holds the water company. Some nights of the week it’s illuminated with color lights.


The flat itself is 123 sqm (1345sqf). It has three double rooms one with a King size bed and the other two with a queen size bed and a full bathroom (shower). The main bedroom boasts a large windowed balcony with a Elizabethan style armchair, from where you will have the chance to see how life flows on Rambla Poblenou. The large living room is devoted to details and to a mixture of styles. The elegant furniture and the luxury furniture creates the necessary warmth, then the designer furniture, a big velvet sofa bed, large OLED Sony TV and cable TV, are the punch, the ingredients that will make you fall in love with this home. The walls have been thought by an interior designer to give the flat that very stylish look. Every piece of furniture is intended to be special for the room its located. The kitchen its been totally redesigned. It has a neolith calacata island kitchen design with a bar with high chairs. The kitchen appliances are top class. We have also a washing machine and dryer, wine cooler and all the gadgets you need to cook as a chef

Luxury Stay in the Heart of Barcelona – Perfect for Families!

Our stay at this Barcelona flat felt like being in a luxury hotel. Every detail was thoughtfully curated — stylish, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. It was absolutely perfect for our family, with plenty of space and all the amenities we could need. The location couldn’t have been better — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We truly cannot recommend this place enough!

Great apartment in family friendly neighborhood, close to the beach and shopping. There is a metro stop within two blocks of the apartment to get to all of the sites. Walking to the touristic areas of the gothic quarter and Eixample are a bit of a distance. Many restaurants right outside the door of the building. Great setup for two couples as there is a bedroom and bathroom in one wing and two bedrooms and a bathroom in another, both with a door to shut off from the common areas. One of our friends was in a wheelchair and was easily able to navigate within the apartment and bathroom. Tony was very good to communicate with.

VRBO Poblenou

The apartment was exactly as it was described online. It was very clean and comfortable. There were six of us and it was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the close proximity to restaurants and shopping. We all felt very relaxed and safe. Tony, the Property Manager was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was also a great tour guide. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants to stay in Barcelona.

The owners, the property, communication, location - 100%. The property lived up to its advertising and we would all stay there again 'in a heartbeat'. Awesome Property and Hosts!

This is an awesome property in the Rambla district. The property was well appointed and recently updated. There are numerous restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk as well as access to public transportation. Victor Miguel and Tony are fantastic hosts. Tony, especially, was phenomenal and gladly assisted us when asked. Tony also provides walking tours of Barcelona which I highly recommend. Victor Miguel organized transportation on our arrival and departure days which greatly simplified our arrival and departure in Barcelona. He also offers a great selection of wine to pre-stock upon arrival. Thank you both, Miguel and Tony, for a fantastic experience! We will be back!!

Perfect apartment in great friendly neighborhood

Everything about the apartment was top notch. The neighborhood is both hip and family oriented and convenient to the beach, too many great restaurants to try and everything you might need for day-to-day life. Would stay there again in an instant and recommend it easily to friends and family.

Amazing time in Barcelona

Our stay was amazing. The property was exactly as advertised and recently updated. We were extremely happy with everything including the location. The street was lovely and we were happy it wasn't closer to the busy areas but still walkable by adults to the tourist areas and the ocean.Victor was great to communicate with prior to arriving and very helpful answering my questions. Tony met us on site when we arrived. The check in process was very simple. We also did a tour with Tony to Montserrat and a small village near the ocean afterwards for lunch. The trip was amazing, and Tony did a great job of showing us all the highlights and beating the crowds. Overall a 10 out of 10 for Tony as well.Tony and Victor exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend this VRBO.

We stayed at this property for 4-5 days in May of 2010. It's a lovely flat in a beautiful building in a very quiet area of Barcelona. You can walk to the beach, parks and many areas of interesting architecture in the area. Recommended!

Comfortable place

Apartment is very comfortable on a pleasant street with lots of good dining and shops and well appointed. Ten minute walk to the beach and close to the metros. Housekeeping wise: could use a few more towels--two per person; more detergent. Unfortunately we ran into two nights where celebratory bands played loudly well into the night, around 3:00 AM. This made sleeping difficult.

beautiful Apartment in Barcelona

We loved this apartment! We are a family of six and traveled to various locations in Spain. This was the nicest of all our accomodations. It is a very modern apartment with all of the comforts of home; the pictures do not do it justice. Victor's father, Miguel, greeted us upon our arrival and showed us the apartment in detail. He also left a map of Barcelona for us. This apartment has a clothes dryer, which is a rare find in Europe! The location is very convenient to the beach and restaurants. The metro and tram are also within walking distance. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again if we ever returned to Barcelona.

El pobloneu lovely apartment

Our family enjoyed 4 wonderful days/nights in this spacious and well designed apartment. The large apartment has been meticulously remodeled throughout and appreciate the kind check in process by Tony having fruit, water, wine and coffee for us after our extensive journey from California. The neighborhood provides everything you need including multiple cafes, tapas bars, bakery, farmacia and grocery stores literally across the street. Very convenient to all of Barcelona with multiple public transportation options as well as a short 30 minute walk to La Sagrada familia. The complex is safe and the quiet neighborhood after 10-11 pm made it easy to get great sleep. Close enough to the gothic quarter but far enough away to provide a break from all of the tourist activity. Also a short walk/jog to the marina was appreciated to enjoy the views and get a bit of exercise. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect for families!

This apartment worked very well for a family of 6 with four older teens. The location was great - we enjoyed being a bit away from the busier central part of Barcelona. All of the sites were still accessible, but we were very close to the beach and the area itself is vibrant with a lot of restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores. The owner offered two day tours that took us outside the city. It was perfect - only slightly more expensive than similar tours we were looking at with larger groups, but much better to have a personalized experience. We learned a lot about living in Spain from our conversations with him. The apartment is newly renovated and had everything we needed. More space than other apartments we have rented in Europe which was nice for a larger family. We stayed a week and loved every minute of it!

Great Apartment!

Victor and Miguel were wonderful and the apartment was just as advertised. We had 7 people in our group and the apartment was still very comfortable. My husband and I loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine recounting the adventures for that day and planning the next day. Being just an easy 10 minute walk to the beach was a bonus, especially with 4 teenagers. When one of our bags did not arrive at the airport with our flight, Miguel offered to have the airline call him so he could give them exact directions to the flat. Our luggage arrived the next morning so we were able to have a relaxing, care-free vacation in Barcelona. We definately recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Barcelona. Thank you Victor, Miguel!

Live in a real neighborhood...

If ideal is getting away from tourist crowds and experiencing the real Barcelona, this apartment could not be better. We were welcomed and comfortable right from the first minutes. All kinds of restaurants and shops and great relaxation, especially with the beach at end of the street. Daily strolls are a must and were enjoyable, even in the rain. Apartment is beautiful and well-appointed. Kitchen could not be improved and markets are right there. Japanese bed in master bedroom was perfect for some, but may too low to floor for others. Option is second, conventional bedroom. Owners make everything easy from airport transfer to responding to email questions before, during, and after the vacation. This would also be an excellent place for extended stays. Definitely a repeat!

Amazing apartment with great attention to detail! Don't miss out on this special place!

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing flat in December. Everything in the apartment was perfect and I loved the attention to detail in all of the rooms. I am very picky about cleanliness and this apt exceeded my expectations.The bedrooms are separated from one another so as to not disturb anyone that wants to sleep in or stay up late. Fantastic location in Barcelona. Close to great restaurants and markets. Victor and his father Miguel made us feel so welcome. Miguel was there to greet us upon our arrival and showed us around. Thank you so much for the great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, and calling a taxi for our early morning departure to Paris. WeI hope to return someday and stay here again. This was an incredibly memorable vacation. Victor's Dad (Don Miguel) greeted us and gave us a tour of the unit. He offered to organize excursions. The unit is completely equipped with anything you might need. My wife and 7-year old daughter had a vacation of their life thanks to this condo. It is located in a more secluded but exclusive "rambla". We would not have wanted to stay near the more popular one as we prefer to be where the locals are. And that is exactly what we found. But I digress. The unit is modern and has every amenity a traveler may wish for. It is private, quiet, and close to major arteries to take you anywhere in town. This is what Barcelona is all about. We stayed for a week but are planning to stay an entire month next year. Thank you Victor, Miguel and Angles. You certainly made our stay one of the best vacations ever. And we travel quite a lot. Pretty Good Stay

Overall, it was a good stay. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. The few issues that did pop up were fairly minor. They provided fruit and a bottle of wine. It's a pretty good apartment. It's in a safe area of town. The water pressure and temperature is amazing. They have blackout shades that block out all light for the bedrooms. The property manager that we met was decently friendly. He made himself available through phone and email. He even called me to check-in right after I landed. They also offer a few tours of their own. We already had tours booked before our arrival though. As for the minor issues, there were two. Prior to arriving, the owner did message me and ask if I would like a Nespresso machine as well as transportation to and from the airport. I responded, asked for all of the above, and confirmed the quoted prices. They never responded to my last message which was sent weeks before my arrival. They did have the Nespresso machine but didn't the transportation from the airport to the VRBO. After I spoke to the property manager in-person, they did arrange transportation to the airport for me. When I arrived, the cleaning crew was still there. They needed an extra forty minutes. It's not the hugest thing but when you just land after an international flight and it's after check-in time, you really just want to relax for a bit. Overall, a good stay!

The Perfect Place in Barcelona

I booked this property because of the wonderful reviews it received. Now, I get to write a wonderful review as well - my only regret is that I am not at the apartment but back home from vacation. My husband, brother-in-law and girlfriend went to Spain for two weeks on a bike trip in the south of Spain and wanted to spend a few days in Barcelona at the end of our trip. We LOVED our apartment for so many reasons. It was easy to get around the entire city by metro, cab and by foot. It was very well located but on a quiet street with our own pedestrian mall filled with shops, stores, groceries, bakeries, and restaurants. We ate breakfast every morning from our balcony having bought groceries downstairs, and ate way too many chocolate pastries and fresh bread from our neighborhood bakery. The apartment was beautiful, clean, well appointed, and designed for privacy and big enough to want to spend time there when not touring. But best of all were the owners of this wonderful apartment - Victor and family were ALWAYS available and responsive to any questions we had and were so helpful from the moment we contacted them about places to see, sights to take in, restaurants to eat at, calling a taxi for our ride to the airport and anything else. I can not say enough positive things about the family and the apartment. We have stayed at other VRBO properties and have had wonderful experiences (we also have a listing on VRBO) but this experience has exceeded all others. We hope that we have the opportunity to visit Barcelona again and we will look forward to "coming home" to our apartment in Barcelona. Thank you Victor and Family for making our final days in Spain so happy and comfortable! Melodye Oh I would strongly suggest eating at the local restaurants on the pedestrian mall downstairs and check out Perdetta Restaurant - it's a must when in Barcelona!

The perfect apartment to share with my mom

Yes ... my boyfriend and I went on vacation with my mom. And it was awesome. I was very concerned about finding the right place for us to stay at but did a lot of research and decided to stay at one of Victor's properties, based on reviews, photos and most of all because of my email exchanges with Victor himself. He was professional and courteous, super helpful in answering all my questions, and was prompt with replies. I really appreciated the list of restaurants he sent in advance so I could do my own research and make reservations ahead of time. His parents were so nice and helpful with checking in and out, and in getting acquainted with the neighborhood when we first arrived. I am so glad we stayed at this wonderful and spacious flat in the Poblenou area. The neighborhood was the perfect fit for us - a mix of babies. children, adults, seniors, and lots of dogs. It was quiet at night which we really appreciated. And it was close to the sea and to the train station, although we took taxis most of the time (highly recommended since it's pretty cheap to take taxis ... only about 7-8 euros to go from one side of town clear across to the other side). The apartment itself was big and comfy. It's set up in an L-shape with one bedroom and one bathroom on one side and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the other side. So it is the perfect place to stay if you have two couples ... or in our case, if you bring your mom. :) Having the washer and dryer in the kitchen was awesome - and the kitchen itself was small but had everything we needed. The three of us spent a lot of time out on the balcony. It was a little tight but do-able for three people (can't fit 4 out there though). Overall, I can't say enough good things about this apartment. I hope to be able to stay there again on my next visit to Barcelona (hopefully sooner than later!) ...

A Wonderful Week's Stay in Barcelona

We rented this apartment for two couples on a six day holiday in Barcelona. It was everything we could have asked for and then some. Victor was there to meet us coming in from the airport and answered all our questions. He provided two keys, welcoming fruit and a bottle of wine. The apartment was particularly well laid out for our purposes with two bedrooms at either end of a very large public area. The kitchen is well stocked should you want to cook, but we dined out mostly. The Rambla that this apartment sits in is not THE Rambla that is heavily touristed but rather a livable neighborhood with many local restaurants and shops. Eating can be as easy as walking downstairs, strolling along the street and picking a likely looking cafe. Victor recommended two special neighborhood restaurants (Recasens and Els Pescador) which we enjoyed very much. For touring it would be easy to catch tram or metro but we chose taxis since for the four of us it was just about the same price. Taxis were easy to find and whisked us to the areas we wanted to visit on a given day. The apartment has Wi-Fi and TV and decent sound insulation from neighboring apartments. Victor was really helpful and accommodating with every question and request. We have stayed in quite a few VRBO settings, but this was one of the best. Our co-renters added the following commentary. I want to send an extra note of gratitude and a reinforcement of all the positives already mentioned. Living in this apartment (which can be rented with two or three bedrooms) is living in a Barcelona neighborhood. This provides ease, insight and experience usually unavailable in hotels. If you're up early, you see moms chatting on benches in the plaza, waiting for school to open for their well-behaved, cheery children. You can pick up good bread and cheese at a corner market and "come home" for breakfast. If you need a break from touring during the day, the taxi ride from points of interest is short. If you're up late, you can walk a block and choose your favorite spot for tapas and beer -- on the plaza, in the moonlight. Provided you make a reservation in advance, you'll be welcomed in the excellent restaurants Victor recommends. By the second day of vacation, you truly feel the sense of "coming home" at day's end. Take your shoes off, sit in the colorful living room, reread the maps, and plot the next day's adventure.

The Rambla poblenou is a very dynamic Street with lots of local shops, nice cafes and restaurants. Close to the beach and very handy to get to the city center. You will be in a OSASIS in Barcelona. Close to the main sightseeings but on a great local area known as the SoHo of Barcelona

What makes this property unique

A Unique design apartment. It took us more than a year to plan all the areas. Every piece of furniture is intended to be special for the room its located. Very warm atmosphere for your stay. We would define it as a Boutique apartment.
