Really incredible house with everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, the trails, and the proximity to the places we wanted to visit. House is beautiful, beds were comfy. There were tons of games but we were too busy enjoying the hot tub, laughing, cooking, and watching the birds. Fantastic for our girls' trip.
It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful!! We really enjoyed a pair of Barred Owls that were nesting next to the cabin!! Gorgeous place and very quiet!!
The house and property are beautiful! We stayed over Easter weekend and the trees were just beginning to leaf out. The house is very private and had great amenities. Our teens loved the games on site. It was easy to get to all of the Parks and the grocery store. It was fun to go watch Jack Pine at his glassblowing studio about a mile down the road and it was a quick drive to Old Man’s Cave Trail. We also easily went into Chillicothe (park side Creamery is great!)We’re already planning a return trip! Recommendations:arrive during daytime if possible, driveway has a short steep hill when you turn in and it’s a little difficult to see in the dark. Also no ATT cell service around the cabin for a few miles BUT the internet at the house was very good! Just make sure to load direction before you leave the house! :)
We had such a lovely and relaxing stay here! The property was exactly what we were looking for—quiet, clean, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a true escape from the hustle of everyday life. Being so close to nature was a huge plus; we enjoyed peaceful mornings with birdsong and beautiful hikes nearby. The space was well-stocked and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors!

Deer Cabin
The cabin itself was nice. Fully stock kitchen, games, hot tub but I would not go back to this property. Check in was not an email as usual with information. It was a phone call to give my codes that I had to write down while I was driving. The information you need is at the cabin in a book. The third bedroom is not a bedroom it is an open loft with a day bed not a murphey bed. Just state this in the description so people know. The bathroom in the loft had mold on the shower curtin and the tub stopper did not work and the toilet seat is falling apart. The kitchen cabinets were dirty inside and many items removed to use were dirty so I basically had to wash everything before we could use it. There was an inch of dust and dirt under the beds in at least one bedroom with multiple ears plugs some dropped visuable in the layers of dust. The jacuzzi tub is in the basement not near a bedroom. That was ok but the jacuzzi did not work. There were at least a dozen lady bugs in the kitchen and we killed 2 wolf spiders in the other bedroom. I know we are in the woods but it goes with the cleanliness. There is a bunch of junk piled under the deck outside of the room the spiders were in so it probably came from there. Also note there is a shared bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. It is not one bathroom per bedroom. Thewas bedroom it was
This is probably the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in! The place was great and cozy. Lots to do. The hot tub was perfect. Close to all the best hiking spots. A little tricky finding in the dark. Would definitely stay there again!
The cabin was amazing. There was a little bit of everything and so much to keep us busy. The hot tub was very relaxing. Being about to hike on the property was super convenient, beautiful land. Many different pull out couches options and the beds are VERY comfortable. Jennifer was amazing and very communicated. She made our stay one of a kind. We go to hocking hills every year and this experience was unforgettable!
Just what we needed such a beautiful place with everything you need to cook and entertain with loved ones beautiful atmosphere and wonderful memories thank you
This is our first trip to the Hocking Hills area and we really lucked out picking this cabin. The pictures don't even really show how nice this place is put together. We liked that there was a locking gate since we were pretty remote with low cell service. With only 4 of us, we could really spread out. We can tell this place is well loved by the owners and we appreciate them sharing it with us!

Beautiful house, well maintained, and perfect location.
This was our second stay here and it is a wonderful house. Very spacious, great lower level with games and the hot tub. Very clean. Down off the road, so very private as well.
The cabin is fabulous!! The layout is perfect. Upstairs has bathroom, sleeping area and play/work area. Main floor is kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bedroom g bathroom (walk-in shower) and a living area. Basement is nicely finished with full bathroom (garden tub), bumper pool, basketball, air hockey, sitting area and walkout.

Such a peaceful environment
Loved all the amenities in the cabin. Kids had a blast exploring the area.
Pictures do no justice! It was soooo nice. Quiet...felt like we were deep in the woods. I was with my boyfriend and our 4 children and had my mother with us. My mom had the loft all to herself. Had a full bathroom, her own private balcony. Plenty of space. Everyone was able to be pretty separate (if they wanted to be) Will definitely use this cabin again!
This is a well thought out property both interior and exterior. It's the best property in regard to amenities/accessories we've rented. It has everything we needed, from bedding, bath, kitchen (we cooked every night), to games and entertainment. And it's very clean!!!
On top of that it's situated on a beautiful, secluded lot.
That said, we believe it would be much more comfortable for 6 people instead of 8.

It is just a beautifully built and designed cabin that replicates living in the tree tops.
Deer Cabin is well furnished that all one needs to bring is food and personal items. The place is spotless. The setting is serene and the location is perfect for visiting all the Hocking Hills attractions. I highly recommend this rental. The Bartlett Benner managerial staff was so helpful and responsive to my questions.
The house was immaculate and very spacey. We hiked on the 16 acres of property and the the house being set down was very private. The hot tub was perfect along with the games, our kids enjoyed very much. Will definitely return this to rental.
Great location for our family spring break vacation with 18 and 17 year old boys. They enjoyed exploring the property. Was closely located to several parks and sites to hike. Also explored some antiques places that were close by. Was perfect size for us and very clean.
Cabin was fabulous! Perfect location with all of Hawking hills very close by. Secluded for our guests and amazing scenes. Everything was great. We will be back!
