The apartment was as advertised, simple but functional. Very small kitchen but we didn't cook there anyway. Check in and check out were easy, parking on site was convenient, and the location was perfect for what we wanted. We would stay again.
Parking was a bit of a suprise with a full size truck. Just a sugestion to list more information about parking space size in the basement. Great stay. Great location for walkking to downtown events.
The whiskey loft location was perfect for our family as it put us near many things that we enjoy doing. The space in the living room area allowed us to visit with our son and his girlfriend in a more relaxed environment. Thanks again for hosting us!
Spent the week with friends touring Louisville and learning about bourbon. Location was good for doing tours and walking distance to many restaurants. Apartment was clean. Building old but unique and still needs a lot of work but over all a good trip. Would recommend.
Beautiful historic building! We were able to tour the city mostly on foot & with short Lyft rides. Apartment was clean & very comfortable. Matt responded quickly to our requests. We had a great visit in Louisville. responsive to our reqresolv
We came to town to do the bourbon tour. We thought the apartment was awesome. It was perfect for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the location and how easy it was to walk to everything. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.
Spacious 2BR condo with comfy beds, located inside historic Henry Clay bldg was perfect for our foursome’s weekend getaway in Louisville. Within walking distance to 4th Street and the riverfront with ample inexpensive overnight parking directly across the street. We would definitely come back!
The only bummer was the check in process. We didn’t received the lockbox code until 45 minutes after we attempted to get into the unit. Everything else about the stay was great.
This property is a great location to be downtown Louisville, KY. It is withing walking distance of many exciting places. The host communicated very clearly about how to enter the building, and the building itself was great to see. It was convenient to have parking in the garage in the basement, however the parking spots were a bit tight and the garage was going through renovations. During our stay the TV wasn't working and we did our best to get it reset. Our host did his best to communicate on the way to get it working again. No big deal, we weren't really interested in sitting and watching it anyway.
The property was clean and secure. We paid in advance for parking, but weren't given parking instructions until after parking in the public lot and was charged double. The actual parking garage is frightening. The pictures on the listing doesn't show how unfinished the place actually is.
Michael's place is in a great location for walking to the Indiana convention center, Lucas Oil and Gainbridge FH. The property is clean and well appointed and comfortable. The area it is in seems to be undergoing redevelopment but we felt safe walking to and from downtown even at 11pm at night. Our only hiccup was a missing coffee maker at the property. The three of us staying were working and coffee is a kick starter in the morning for us. When Michael was notified, he quickly offered gift cards to Starbucks to make up for the missing coffee maker! If you need a place close to downtown and don't mind the 20 minute walk, this is a great place to stay! The host is very quick to respond and goes above and beyond for his guests!
Underground parking garage was like a war zone with eroded pillars, concrete pieces, dust and dirt everywhere. The apartment was spacious but barely furnished. Toilette in main bedroom was plugged with excrement, unable to flush. It took about 18 hours to repair and clean. Bugs on main bedroom nightstand. Dilapidated windows, chipped paint. Lack of rugs on distressed, cracked cement floor. Would never stay here again.
