Enter through one of two gates at the horseshoe driveway, past the 8-foot tall privacy fence and forget that you are in the middle of the city at this location with a park-like setting. Enjoy your expansive space overlooking large mature oak trees, maple trees, and pecan trees on the front porch chairs, on the back porch swings, around the firepit, the chicken enclosure (with fresh eggs for you to grab out of the laying boxes, when they are laying) or at the elevated deck in the middle of the back yard. All of this in the middle of the city with all amenities very closeby!

Quiet, private place to relax

This was a wonderful property that was perfect for a bunch of family visiting for the holidays. Plenty of parking and an open floorplan made for a cozy place to relax and unwind while in town to visit family. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived, and check-in check-out was painless. I would stay here again!

Comfortable Stay

This was a wonderful home to stay in while away from our home in SC. The house was welcoming, and surrounded by a beautiful, private, yard. The location felt like we were away from everything, yet the stores and restaurants were right up the street. A big thank you to Mark for being a great host!

This property is a great place to stay with family. Owner is responsive and gives reminders on things to do while at our stay at his house. Many great restaurants nearby. Would definitely book again!!!

Spacious Family Farmhouse

What a perfect home to spend time with Family from out of town. Beautiful outdoor space, located close to both Houston and Galveston Island. Finding fresh eggs from the Chickens was such a treat! Hope to stay here again.

Farmhouse Stay

Great property! House is very nice and the backyard is nice as well. I enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee in the morning on the patio. We were in town for a wedding and were vefy busy so it was nice to have a place to come to that was so relaxing.

Modern farmhouse

Really enjoyed our stay here. Pretty home and nice big yard. The house was very well maintained, clean and had everything we needed. Our communication with the owner was prompt and accommodating. This will be our go to house for all future visits to the area. Would not hesitate to rent it again.

Family Visit

This property was centrally located with east access to the highways. The house was amazing and has planets of space for our grandparents, siblings, and child! The yard was huge and our dog had an amazing time running around the fenced in lot. Mark was very easy to get in contact with. Can’t wait to stay again!

Stunning remodel. Simple, elegantly appointed. We couldn't stop admiring all the little details. Easy access to everything yet very secluded. Entire front yard and back fenced.
