Charming old building with view on Main street

Nice spacious apartment on the second floor above a cafe on Main St. with view of the harbor. We heard practically nothing from the restaurant downstairs, but noisy traffic begins around 5:00 am. Fine for just the 2 of us, but for a group some kitchen improvements would be nice, like a dishwasher.

Harbor Cafe

We love Stonington. For our stay this year we stayed over the Harbor Cafe. It’s a 2nd story 3 bed 2 bath apartment. The living room is good sized for a family (we had 6 of us). Each bedroom was good sized with comfy beds and linens. The apartment could use a couple more fans or a small AC unit. It stayed 78-80° inside even though it was cooler outside. Most of the windows open and allow the sea breeze to come in. Parking is tricky. We had a travel van so we couldn’t use the rear parking but found a spot at the back of the community center. It was a short walk down a very nice trail directly to the back of the apartment. Overall we loved the apartment and the proximity to the water and everything Stonington.
