Why they chose this property

A short drive from the house to the beach, local hikes and shops. Deer isle is located in the Acadia region and is often referred to as Bar Harbor without the crowds. An artist community with numerous galleries and studios, quaint coffee shops, restaurants, bars, beautiful coastlines, hiking through nature preserves, beaches and marinas.
Drive down the island 10 minutes is Stonington one of the largest producing lobster ports in Maine. Let one of our local guides take you in a guided boat tour of the area and end it with a fresh lobster bake.
