“Simply stunning, one-of-a-kind recently restored historic urban home from the 1930s and steps away from Downtown Tucson. Tastefully restored and curated decoration featuring original high wood ceilings, exposed brick, and authentic wood paneling on top of windows with recently painted murals by a local artist. Walk for brunch at cherished 5 Points Café, to Downtown for a craft beer at Pueblo Vida, or amazing coffee at Exo Roast Co in Barrio Viejo.”

Lovely vintage building that has been remodeled with great care. We loved the location as our stay was focused in the Barrio. Our host provided Easy & accurate directions and we had no problems. I would stay there again. The sister cottage next door would make it great for two couples to visit on our next trip to Tucson.
I am always leery of new hotels and rental locations. You never know if the pictures and descriptions are accurate. Plus I am new to VRBO. I took a chance on this bungalow and it did not disappoint. First, it was exactly how it was pictured and described. But it felt even better once we checked in. It was warm and cozy, expertly updated with mid-century modern furniture but with a Tucson personality. The location was superb. It was just a couple miles from the wedding we were attending so that made for easy access. The identical unit across the courtyard from us was fantastic as our family members also rented it. We loved the outside area in the back. It was a great place to sit and have coffee with our family. I cannot say enough good things about it. We just loved it.
This property was perfect for our overnight in Tucson. I absolutely loved the decor and finishes of the property and would have loved to stay longer if we could. I especially loved the little courtyard and backyard. Quiet neighborhood and we felt safe.
In reality, this home was better than represented. An amazing historic home that lives like new! The kitchen and bathroom were great and the furnishings amazing. There was plenty of off-street parking for a downtown property and with a washer and dryer I will come back on stay longer next visit!
We stayed at this property for a week while exploring the Tucson area, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated, and the location was conveniently located. We walked downtown (about a mile) and found a couple of great restaurants just a couple of blocks away in the 5 Point area. The only frustration was with the payment process, which was resolved. (Payment did not show on the VRBO page, nor did it have a link to pay.) I would highly recommend this property and will book it again when we return!
This was a great little getaway in Tucson! It was super clean, the bed was comfy, and everything went easy. The place is well decorated and most importantly the AC worked super well! For solo female travelers like me there were a couple of awkward moments at night with staring neighbors but nothing that would make me worry too much or remove a star. I felt safe enough. If I had to come up with any suggestion for improvement it would be to have some sort of shelf in the shower to put soap/shampoo/conditioner, and maybe a shower door so water doesn't go everywhere, but as it is it's great. All in all I highly recommend it, five stars!
This was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had using Vrbo. The house is located in a horrible neighborhood a block away from several homeless camps, and even more at the local park. All the curtains were sheer, allowing for people from the street to see in. When we checked in, it smelled like someone had just used the restroom like at a rest stop. I tried to communicate to the owners and Vrbo this issues and the major safety concerns, and no one cares or offered a solution. We stayed one night there and then moved to a hotel for the next six nights. This added so much stress to what should’ve been an experience focused on dropping off our son at college. To add to that, our stay was in August, and it is now November and I just got charged today for the total cost of the week that we did not stay. Completely disgusting and vile experience.
