Just minutes from Sausalito the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. This spotless, new studio is on a floating home. Beautiful water views and wildlilfe await you. Book a seaplane tour (discounted) while you're here and see the San Francisco Bay Area like never before!

We're new to VRBO and don't have many reviews. But if you find us on other major booking sites, you can read the amazing reviews from previous guests !!!

The space
Small, but just renovated and beautifully designed, this studio features
— a full kitchen with oven, induction range, microwave
— top and bottom dishwashers
— Full-height refrigerator
— Washer and dryer
— Deck with views facing SE to Sausalito and San Francisco
— Kingsize bed on platform with large storage pullout drawers
— State-of-the-art heatpump AC and heating
Other things to note
First, this is a studio; the bed, living room and kitchen are all in one open space.

Second, seaplane and helicopter tours operate just to the South. Our guests report enjoying watching their activities. As our guest, you are entitled to a 10% discount.

The seaplane runs 4-5 days per week, with at most 8 trips per day (usually less.) The helicopter tours are much less frequent. The don't run early in the morning.

The sounds of takeoff and landing are quite minimal when the studio doors and windows are shut. The seaplane taxis far out into Richardson Bay before take off, so its not really an problem, sound-wise.

The space was a little smaller than expected and the view wasn't exactly what I though we were getting, but it was still very nice and we fully enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, the host was very responsive, and it was very comfortable.

Lovely stay

We had a very nice stay here. I had seen these house boats last time I was in the SF area and wanted to try them out. It was nice when the tide was up as you had a very gentle movement on board. Unit was very clean and we enjoyed having the W/D in the unit. Owner gave very detailed instructions and the stay was easily managed. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience the house boat.

Relaxing on Richardson Bay

We came for a weekend getaway and Harold communicated clearly with excellent details. His floating condo was clean and exactly as described with all of the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was close to great restaurants and an easy drive to Muir Woods. We will definitely be back when we need to have a weekend of connection and relaxation. The views of Richardson Bay were very peaceful.

Houseboat Condo

Harold the host was an absolute delight! He shared local knowledge and did everything he could to make sure we had everything we needed! Sausalito is so much fun to visit! The condo had all of the amenities we needed for our stay, the view was beautiful, the bed comfortable and we had a great time! If you haven't stayed on a houseboat condo before, this is a fun and different!

Property was clean and updated. View was two seaplanes or the highway. Only property we have ever had to pay a deposit on and they can't seem to refund it in a timely manner

The people who stayed in the room above us through a party at midnight and we couldn’t get to sleep. Not the hosts fault, but still took away from our engagement weekend a smidge.

Lovely boat house

The boat and accommodations were comfortable & lovely inside. We were in unit A which is the one in the back with a side deck. The bed is beyond comfortable. Not much space for suitcases as we were traveling across the country for a week but it all worked out. For us it rained the whole time. Poured and the wind…but the boat house was solid. The area is interesting. The house is located behind some industrial buildings. The parking is all based on the tides. We did not have any problems. Sausalito is a short drive to the downtown area and restaurants. And the ferry to San Fran. Also a short drive to a Muir Woods and about an to Napa and Sonoma. and never shook.
