Mid-Century Mountain Home with Breathtaking Views

A nature lover's dream....
The large windows of this rustic home look out on the San Francisco Bay and the trails of Mount Tam are literally right out your door. It's hard to believe that San Francisco is a mere 14 miles away when you wake up to deer in the garden and the smell of pine.

There's a large patio surrounding the property from which to enjoy the ever-changing vistas of San Francisco and Mt. Tam . And despite the mountain setting, it's only a mile drive down the mountain to the quaint Mill Valley town square.

This cozy artist's retreat is located at the head of a hiking trail which will take you as far as Stinson Beach (if you've got the energy) or as close as the little stream about half mile down the fire trail.

A large fireplace, terrazzo floors, eclectic antiques and interesting old books... It is very much a retreat whether you want to stay put & relax, sail or mountain bike, experience small town life in Mill valley or explore the many sights in San Francisco.

Absolutely stunning views of San Francisco and the bay from this property! The host was super responsive to us with helpful information. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and enjoy our meals overlooking the bay below. This is a beautiful property and a fabulous house. Proximity to downtown Mill Valley, 30 min drive to Stinson Beach and trails steps from the house. This was my second stay here and I can't wait to return.

This wonderful property feel more like a sanctuary or a trip back in time. The outside is as beautiful as the interior is so lovingly kept in its original form except that the kitchen appliances are fully updated, which was so helpful.
