About this property

ADA-Accessible Home Steps from Cleveland Clinic

Summary:

Steps away from the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, our 2500+ sq foot home will be the perfect home base for you and your group while in town! With 5 bedrooms (7 beds) and 3 full bathrooms (including 1 handicap accessible bedroom and bath.) Plenty of space for the whole crew! Pet friendly!



First floor features a handicap accessible Queen bed. There is the only bedroom on the first floor, all others (4 bedrooms) are located upstairs.



There is a handicap ramp out front.



The Space:

Designed by a local designer, our home is curated to your comfort and enjoyment. Each bedroom has its own little theme.. The master is a nod to our beautiful parks system here in Northeast Ohio and features a king bed and pull out sofa bed plus an attached full bath with shower and separate tub. We have the Rock N Roll Room with cool memorabilia from the Home of Rock N Roll! We love our sports here in CLE and we show support for our Browns and Cavs in two separate bedrooms. And we had to show support for our wonderful theater district at Playhouse Square!



There is one bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor that are both ADA compliant and we have a ramp going up the front of the house as well to avoid any steps.



The dining space and living room and gorgeous and provide excellent spaces to enjoy meals together and some quality bonding time.



The fully stocked kitchen will have everything you could need while here, from coffee and tea to pots and pans to make your favorite meals. The back deck has a grill and chair to enjoy a nice summer evening!



Guest Access:

You will have the entire home to yourselves. Self check in with an electronic code given 72 hours prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

We are located literally steps from the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. A 5 minute walk from the house.



Getting Around:

The RTA bus transport is close by -- as well as -- easy access to Uber and Lyft options.



Other Things to Note:

Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: We are not able to grant early or late checkouts at this time under most cases. There are times if we have open nights where we can accommodate it, but given the size of the house and time it takes to prepare, we cannot accommodate late checkout or early check ins if we have checkins or checkouts same day. We do allow for bag drop.



Pets Welcome: $150 Fee/per pet. 2 pet maximum.

Note: You must disclose in the messages if you are bringing an animal. ESA animals must pay fee.

We appreciate that the home was ADA accessible because one of our guest couldn’t use the stairs. The host responded quickly to any questions or concerns we may have had. The home was very spacious for the seven of us. It would’ve been nice if all of the rooms had TVs. Overall the home was clean besides the refrigerator and pet hairs on the upstairs couch pillows! I would definitely still book this house in the near future if I were in the area again.

Great stay for Cleveland Clinic visit

Perfect proximity to Cleveland Clinic. Big house with all the amenities needed. Garage parking is great, as it gives you piece of mind. Owner very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Place

This was our second time staying here. The house was clean and comfortable, and is in a quiet neighborhood. We had perfect weather to enjoy the deck. My family liked being able to walk to CC in less than ten minutes. We were pleased that we could visit some of Cleveland’s attractions with a short car ride. It’s the perfect place!

Perfect house and location!

Our stay was perfect - clean and spacious house and wonderful host! Walkable to Cleveland Clinic and easy driving access to many locations. I would highly recommend this house for anyone staying in Cleveland particularly if you have a larger group or family staying with you.

Host was welcoming & in contact with us until last day. Sent a message asking if we could do a late check out the day before check out and didn’t get a reply. Home was clean-ish. Really could use a good dusting on ceiling fans, baseboards, steps, railings & through out the house. That part was disappointing to see the dirt & dust buildup all over. Downstairs bedroom didn’t have heat and the fireplace didn’t work. We found a small space heater to put in there. Garage was dirty. I know a garage but the steps you walk into home with and the walls could use a sweeping to get all the dead bugs, webs and eggs out. Rugs in the bathrooms would be nice because the floors are so slippery when wet. Over all not to bad just could be cleaner. Definitely needs a deep cleaning.

North American sailing Championships

Great crew-house for our sailing team in town for a week of racing on Lake Erie. Nice accommodations and location. Was very handy having the entire garage to park the van in and to organize our gear. The washing machine was helpful, too. Very nice to be out in the backyard on the deck and to enjoy the grill. Many thanks again.

Close to Cleveland Clinic

This place has plenty of bedrooms a main floor bedroom with ADA access bathroom. The entrance has a ramp for a wheelchair or Rollator. Plenty of space to spread out with people if you have a group. Washer and dryer are very convenient. Neighborhood is quiet except for the bus stop is a block away get a little boombox, but it’s OK.. Very responsive to my inquiries or questions

Great place for family & those needing a 1st floor bedroom

Beautiful, clean, true to the listing and so convenient to Cleveland Clinic. Had a family member that couldn’t do stairs and this home had all the amenities… use of a wheelchair, ramp at front entrance, first floor bedroom and handicap walk-in shower. Garage was tight for 2 SUV’s, but the on-street parking was directly in front of the home and accommodated our needs.

Cleveland Clinic Access

We needed a place close to CC and this was it. Loved the contemp vibe, cleanliness, bedroom options, the works. Very thoughtful owner. Few suggestions: change out the rug in downstairs main bedroom. All four edges were curled up and could kill someone who has trouble walking, which my wife with two hip ops had. VERY dangerous. Also, couldn’t find any remotes as promised in house description. A bit inconvenient to park car, get out, and type in code, but otherwise very useful to have off-street parking. Finally, there were two empty bottles of clothes washing detergent waiting for us so we bought you a full bottle from the Whole Foods downtown. Inconvenient but no biggie, you may want to ask your cleaning person to check to make sure there’s at least half a bottle available. Other than those issues, a GREAT place, Mark, thank you. Hope to stay again if necessary. Btw, my heart op was successful and your lovely home was a welcome and positive spot in that process. Thanks again.

Almost perfect

I was pleased with the location and ease of the entry to the home. I appreciated the ada accommodations as my husband is in a wheelchair. The house was spacious and accommodated my family of 5 well. The location was pretty good, we were approx 10 mins from our venue. My biggest compliant was cleanliness. Upon walking in, the home appeared to be clean but I'm a real stickler for a fresh smelling home. This place had more of an old, stale smell. Next there was mold in the downstairs bathroom and the master, and a sewer smell coming from the downstairs bathroom. There were strands of hair in all the bathrooms and on the towels and also found a few hairs on the master bed sheets and in the closet. Honestly it appeared that whomever cleaned the home either A. Didn't have enough time to clean properly or B. They havent had any guest in a while & someone just did a quick walk through to make sure the house was "presentable" vs. actually cleaned properly. The master was colder than the rest of the house and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Thank God I take my own linens & towels with me whenever I travel, otherwise, I probably would have not completed my stay. I did reach out to the manager; he was very responsive & apologetic, even invited us to stay again but he did not offer anything like a partial refund of the cleaning fee or a complimentary night. For me, that would have shown a little more customer care. On the fence of if I would stay here again.
