We had a very nice stay. Restaurant recommendations were superb. We enjoyed the balcony watching the water and a group of ducks across the street. Wonderful kitchen setup with a gas stove and everything needed to cook a nice meal. If in season stop by Church Produce for fresh local vegetables. Host was very responsive.
Worked out great for the two of us and two grandkids. Good location and amenities. Nice screened porch and balcony. Bedrooms got a little warm overnight but provided fans helped cool the rooms. Host was very responsive and helpful for our first trip to the area.
As soon as we opened the door we were greeted by the smell of clean! The beds were neatly made and the mattresses were very comfortable. There were so many helpful items already there, such as wash detergent and dish liquid, we didn’t have to pack so much. Best of all the beauty of the water could be enjoyed both inside and out! We rented this whole house for half the price of a hotel, yet we were away from the crowd and could enjoy tranquility.Christine was a very helpful host from the very start. I highly recommend this rental property.

Thank you so much for the lovely review! I am so happy you enjoyed your stay! We welcome you back anytime!
Lovely home and Christine was wonderful about answering any questions promptly. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch with the fan blowing with the view of the water and watching the ducks
Older home charm with modern conveniences. Good location and good views of the bay. We would like to stay again next year during the week of August 19th. From Sunday to Thursday, can we book now and pay in April?
We spent a long (three-night) weekend in Chincoteague, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Christine is a fabulous host, and the house is in a great location, very convenient to both "downtown" Chincoteague, the wildlife refuge, and Curtis Merritt Harbor (where many of the tour boats are located). Both the lower level screened porch and the upper level un-screened deck are great places to relax in the morning or evening - you can watch birds flying around the marsh, and the front garden is a pollinator haven! Christine provides great instructions and basic info about Chincoteague, and is quick to respond to questions.
Our visit to Chincoteague was a short one but staying here was wonderful. It is on Main Street just past the fairgrounds and only took minutes to get where you wanted to go. The place was fully stocked with just about anything you would need. I loved the smell of fresh laundered sheets when you walked into the bedrooms and the house was very clean. Sitting on the front porch rockers watching the sunset was amazing. Being on the upstairs deck at night looking at the stars was also very memorable. Our host Christine was wonderful, she communicated everything we needed to know before, during and after our trip. Her recommendations were spot on. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.
Christine was a dream to work with! She was very communicative and helpful with recommendations around the island. She quickly answered questions we had during our stay and was ready to help if anything went wrong. We loved having a comfortable place to call home for the week while we explored. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for something cozy and low maintenance during their stay!
