Spectacular Mountain Home with Breathtaking Views

This beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home located between Winter Park and Fraser is perfect for the entire family or families wanting to vacation together. It is nestled on the hillside overlooking the town of Winter Park and Fraser Valley and provides spectacular views of Byers Peak and the Arapaho National Forest. Only a few minutes from Winter Park Ski area; you can drive to the resort or park or take the city's ski shuttle which stops right before the entrance to our neighborhood.

Begin your day in the fully equipped kitchen with Stainless Steel appliances and Corian stone counter tops. The natural wood kitchen table serves 8 and the breakfast counter serves 2. Enjoy a steaming hot breakfast while surrounded by windows and looking for wildlife to emerge from the forest.

Upon your return, relax in comfortable, leather sofas with power recliners while you enjoy the mountain views, warm yourself with the gas stone fireplace or catch your favorite HD show on the 55 inch flat screen TV. Better yet, step out on the wrap around porch that surrounds three sides of the house to relax and breath in the fresh mountain air. The main level bedroom includes a log and metal king sized bed with a flat screen TV and a slate tiled bathroom.

The private upstairs room has full slate lined bathroom, queen sized bed and large writing desk. Catch up on email using the in house Wi-Fi or journal about your day fishing in nearby Fraser River, hiking/snowshoeing the trail system located steps outside our door, riding 600+ miles of mountain bike trails, or numerous other outdoor activities in the area.

The lower level has the master suite with a warm walnut king sized bed, flat screen TV, windows that take in the expansive mountain views, a large sliding glass door which leads you to the patio and a large 8 person hot tub. The master private slate tiled bathroom has his & her sinks, a soaking tub and separate shower.

The bunk room is on this floor with 2 sets of natural wood bunk beds (sleeps 4) and its own private bathroom with shower. Laundry facilities are on this level as well with a high efficiency front loading system.

Finish the day with sizzling steaks on the propane gas grill.

The extra large hot water heater will keep all the showers warm and our spacious 2 car garage eliminates any early morning ice scraping. We have a camera on the outside of the garage overlooking the road and driveway to monitor for security purposes.

Our host was great! She was easy to get in touch with, her replies were timely, and her knowledge of the area was most helpful (we haven't been to Winter Park before). Our cabin was clean and bright. We made use of the kitchen regularly for breakfast and dinner. There was plenty of space for our party of 9 to stay without being on top of each other. The location and views were amazing! The lift service to Winter Park is just down the hill from the cabin, but we didn't need to use the neighborhood service since we drove in. And, oh my goodness, using the hot tub after a long day out was soooo nice!

Perfect for our family

We had 5 adults, and 5 children ages 3-11 range. This house was a perfect fit for us. Check in and out was easy. We did some activities in winter park, Fraser, and Granby. Location was perfect. Great host. Couldn’t be happier with our stay.

Sledding Time

Had a great time, again. Plenty of snow and some fresh snow during time we were there. Built sled run on back of house, kids and adults enjoyed it, though some of us were feeling parts of the body we didn’t know we had! House everything as expected, we will be back

Hiking and Mountain Biking Dream

Easy walk to the Meadow Trail trailhead. Easy access to miles and miles of trails in Arapahoe National Forest for hiking and mountain biking. We will definitely return here!

This is perfect for a great ski weekend in Winter Park! Private with beautiful views. Great hot tub after a day of skiing! Huge and everyone can sleep comfortably and privately! Everything is comfortable! You may not want to leave! Book this one!

A true mountain paradise

Our group of friends decided on Winter Park for a ski trip and ended up stumbling upon Rendezvous Road and we're so glad we did! It's a short drive to downtown Winter Park and the mountain, and there's even a shuttle stop just down the hill. The house was perfect for what we needed, including grilling and relaxing in the hot tub overlooking all of Fraser Valley. The views are even better in person, especially at night. Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay at Amazing Property for Family Cross Country Ski Trip!

We do an annual snow trip to somewhere within driving distance of Fort Collins each February - this property was perfect for our family to have access to cross country skiing, snow hiking, tubing, and downhill skiing for those who wanted it. The property was clean, had a great family room and kitchen for gathering, had tasteful decor, a nice spa, fantastic views of Byers peak and the Fraser Valley, and plenty of space in general for our family. It is within minutes of plenty of restaurants and breweries and it was about 17 minutes for us to get to Devil's Thumb for XC skiing. We had a blast and would totally return!

First Snow for the grandkids!

Had a great time. Everything was as advertised, slope out back door was great for sledding, jacuzzi was used, great to help relax. Snowed a little every day, local event center was great for sledding for the kids, even the 2 year old!! Enjoyed the Mountain Park tubing and snowboarding by daughters was great, very quiet on the slopes, even with fresh snow!! Roads were easy and snow cleared daily, no chains needed, just 4 wheel even with snow every day. Great time by all, especially grandkids who enjoyed every day, proof was slept through every night!

A great week!

The house was the perfect size for the 7 of us, with room for several more. We loved the area, restaurants, shopping, hiking, fishing, etc. The house was great, but we felt that the furniture was not as comfortable as we older people would have liked. The dining room table was bar height and uncomfortable to eat at, much less play cards and games there after dinner. We also felt that there could have been more attention paid to the cleanliness of the house. All in all it was a good location, beautiful setting, and easy to get in touch with the property manager. We would all stay here again.

Amazing Winter Park home!

Our family of three stayed 5 nights and we loved everything about the house. Our teenage daughter had her own floor upstairs and my wife and I had our own floor on the bottom level. The main floor with the living room, kitchen and a large bedroom and bath is very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. We loved the back porch with chairs overlooking Winter Park and the hot tub is an amazing place to relax and look at the stars. We found the location to be very quiet but also just a short drive to restaurants, shops and the Winter Park Village for skiing. The owner was very responsive to all my questions particularly around a snow storm that hit during our stay dropping nearly two feet of snow in a 36 hour timeframe! Even after all the snow, the driveway had been cleared and the community did an amazing job clearing the streets. Five stars all around!

The house is nice but there are drawbacks.

Hot tub is great. Views are great. Beds were comfortable. 2 car garage is nice to have. The house had 1 toilet that ran and ran, which was incredibly loud in the bedroom below. We kept having to open the top and fix it. One of the kitchen chairs was broken. The sofa is a sectional arranged in a bizarre way so the pieces aren't connected and we all took turns falling through the cracks. There is no transportation nearby so you have to drive to the mountain. There weren't bath supplies in all the bathrooms (some bathrooms had shampoo and soap, others did not). And there is no mud room or place to store boots and things when you walk in, so we had to fashion our own. For the price, I think we might be able to find something better next time.
