Spend your evenings by the campfire, watch the stars. It’s simple, real, and exactly what most places can’t offer anymore.

The Space

Welcome to Pines Glamping at Ruidoso Valley Getaway. This cozy 28-foot glamping trailer sits on a quiet 38-acre ranch in historic Glencoe, just 9 miles east of Ruidoso Downs on US-70. Guests stay here for the peace, big skies, campfires, and the feeling of being out in the countryside while still close to town.

The property borders the edge of Lincoln National Forest, offering easy access to hiking and mountain scenery while returning to a quiet rural retreat each evening.

You’ll likely see our friendly ranch dogs making their rounds and chickens wandering the pasture. Many guests enjoy simply relaxing outside, watching sunsets, and stargazing under some of the darkest skies in the Ruidoso Valley.

The Trailer

The glamping trailer includes a private bedroom with a comfortable RV queen bed and upgraded mattress.

Additional sleeping options include:

a small twin couch sofa

a dining table that converts into a twin bed


The bathroom includes a shower (no tub).

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped for simple meals and camp cooking.

Included:

oven and three stovetop burners

microwave

coffee percolator (Folgers coffee provided)

pots, pans, utensils

porcelain and paper dinnerware

refrigerator and freezer


Cooking oil, salt, and pepper are also provided.

Outdoor Living

Many guests come here to enjoy the outdoors.

Your rental includes:

a private campfire pit (check with host during burn bans)

charcoal grill at the trailer

propane flat grill and BBQ grill at the cabana (about 200 feet away)

outdoor chairs and a hammock


Water is fresh well water from a 150-foot deep aquifer and is fully potable.

Entertainment & Connectivity

board games including Yahtzee, cards, checkers, and chess


A fan and background noise console are also provided for comfort.

The trailer includes refrigerated air conditioning and electric heat for year-round comfort.

This property is intended for guests seeking a peaceful rural getaway rather than a nightlife destination. Alcohol is permitted. Outdoor 420 use is permitted in accordance with New Mexico law.

Parking accommodates two vehicles at the rental, with additional space available for trailers.

Damage Policy
Guest and any non-booking (unregistered) occupants are responsible for all damage, theft, missing items, and excessive cleaning. Guest agrees to pay all verified costs submitted through VRBO, including repair, replacement, or lost revenue.


This is not a typical VRBO. Guests choose this property for nature, quiet, and outdoor activities—not for partying.

No pets of any type are allowed on this property for safety reasons as 5 pasture dogs run the acreage to keep predators away and could harm pets.

Undisclosed animals will result in denied entry and cancellation without refund.

Bringing a pet onto the property will result in immediate cancellation.

Guests who attempt to misrepresent pets as service animals may be reported to VRBO and local law enforcement in accordance with platform policy and applicable New Mexico law.

Trained pasture dogs are present on the property for predator control.

Outdoor 420 use is permitted in compliance with New Mexico law.

No indoor smoking of any kind.

Indoor smoking will result in a $500 cleaning and fumigation fee.

10. Wildlife & Safety

This property adjoins Lincoln National Forest.

Wildlife such as rattlesnakes, raccoons, skunks, foxes, and insects may be present.

This is an active rural ranch property. Conditions may include uneven ground, natural terrain, wildlife, insects, livestock, working animals, farm equipment, limited lighting, and environmental conditions typical of a countryside setting.

The immediate rental area is defined as approximately 30 feet from the lodging structure. Areas beyond this boundary are not part of the rental premises and are entered at the guest’s own risk.

A deep ravine runs through the property. Guests are not permitted in or within 20 feet of the ravine.

Ponds, bridges, and restricted areas are not designated for swimming or recreational use unless specifically stated.

Children under 18 must be supervised at all times while outdoors.

Guests may not wander the property after dark except within the immediate rental area. A flashlight or headlamp must be used when outdoors at night.

Do not leave food or trash outdoors.

Wildlife & Predator Control

This is a rural ranch property adjoining forest habitat. Predators such as foxes, coyotes, bobcats, and other wild animals may occasionally enter the property, most often at night.

The host maintains free-range chickens and a working dog pack. When a predator presents an immediate threat, lawful action may be taken to protect animals and safety.

Guests must not interfere with wildlife or predator activity.

By booking, guests acknowledge and accept the realities of staying on an active rural property.
