Beautiful, impeccably clean bayfront home with private dock.

Come enjoy the Sights and Sounds of Mobile Bay from this Wonderfully Decorated and Super Comfortable Bay home. This house will meet all of your family's needs, with 3 ways to enjoy the outdoors: screened in porch - where you will find comfy swivel-rockers perfect for enjoying the idyllic Alabama sunsets or head downstairs and relax around the fire glass table and watch the game or layout on the conveniently provided lounge chairs and catch some "rays"; or utilize your own private pier and dock to head out on the paddle board, or try your hand at throwing out the bait net or set the crab trap and catch tonight's dinner!
You can bring your boat and launch at the Pelican Point boat ramp just 3 miles down the road! Owner keeps boat in lift all year. Boat dock is available for short term daytime use docking only. Boat dock has large fish cleaning station with live edge wood counter, large cutting board and water available.

If outdoors isn't your thing, you will enjoy the large screen TV in the family room as well as the TVs in each bedroom or making meals in the fully equipped kitchen! Kitchen includes: pots, pans, cast iron skillet, air fryer, 2 crockpots, electric skillet, microwave, toaster, Breville convection-toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, condiments and spices, dishes, glasses, insulated cups, bar glasses, utensils, large selection of knives, baking pans, serving dishes…
Home has fast speed internet access, Wi-Fi printer, 5 Smart TVs, bed linens, multiple multi-weight throws, beach towels, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, soap, lotion, hair dryer and well equipped first aid kit for emergencies.
If you choose to bring your dog, you will find a large dog bowls and a fenced in dog run accessible directly from the screened in porch.
The home also includes a motorized material lift that can be used for transporting goods from one ground floor to the screened in porch. Use of the lift will be available for an additional refundable deposit. Waiver is required to be signed.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Bath towels, kitchen towels and beach towels need to be put in the washing machine and wash should be started. (note: Owner’s cleaning service will charge for excessive laundering).
Bring the Kitchen trash bags out of the House down to the garbage cans on the Bay level, including all empty bottles and cans.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Use of the Lift is available for a $50 fee. A Liability Waiver must be signed. Lift is not approved as an elevator. Riding lift is At Your Own Risk.
All stays that at anytime during your stay will have over 6 guests staying overnight will be charged an additional $50.

Fairhope Haven

The house was impeccable and right on the bay. Clean, organized, upscale, great location close to Fairhope and Gulf Shores. Next time we are in the area we would love to stay here again.

Great Family Vacation!

We had such a great time at this beautiful house in Fairhope. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We travel every year as a family and this was our favorite house so far. We’re definitely planning on returning next year.

Perfect stay on the bay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful bay front home in Fairhope. The views from the screened in porch is by far my favorite. Melanie and the neighbors are so nice and helpful. This is our second time to stay in this beautiful home and we can’t wait to return again soon!!

Great time with the family.

We booked this house to spend time together and attend our annual family reunion. Our grandson wanted be on the deck all the time. The views were beautiful and we spent one morning just spotting rainbows. Everything was super nice.

Fantastic stay in Fairhope

Fairhope is our summer vacation favorite and this home made it a grand time again this year. Lovely home with great pier. Caught many crabs off the pier which made for delightful snacks and supper. Host was helpful and thorough with instructions. Can’t wait to return!

Thanksgiving Getaway

My wife found this gem on-line for our family to come together, relax and enjoy Thanksgiving together! This place was amazing in space and comfort. We enjoyed the screen deck patio and walking out on the pier, beautiful sunsets, relaxing watching football and movies! Definitely will be coming back to this place! Thanks Melanie! We have stayed at this gem on the Bay several times. The owners are attentive and a joy to interact with. The screened porch, the Pier, the views, the fishing... What's not to love! Relaxing Getaway

This was our second time staying in this home. Once again, we had a wonderful and relaxing time. Always wish we could stay longer. House had everything we needed and more. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Screened in porch is perfect spot for morning tea or coffee. The dock is amazing! The host has added a few pieces of furniture in the kitchen area and rearranged the family room. All great additions!

Long weekend get away

This home is clean and beautiful and absolutely had everything we could possibly ask for in a vacation home. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware, the porch was lovely, the pier was in perfect condition. This sweet family truly thought of every detail and we quick to communicate and answer any questions. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this bayfront home in beautiful Fairhope. Very clean beds, house and plenty of amenities for the stay. We couldn’t decide on which area to relax as far as outside goes because both outside areas were very relaxing and inviting. Best place we have reserved so far. Homeowners were very accommodating and prompt in response to any concerns. I would absolutely want to stay here again in the future. The pier and dock were icing on the cake for this stay. Just a 40 minute drive to Gulf Shores as well.

Perfection

In 20 years of visiting Mobile Bay, this may have been the most peaceful stay. The house is beautiful and well appointed. The screened porch overlooking the water was our home most all week. The lift was a tremendous bonus. The homeowners and the neighbors were all very friendly. We highly recommend this home.

A Holiday to remember

This was to be a magical time for us- to be all together (yet away from home and all our traditions) with all our spread out grown children and our first brand new grandchild😍 This house was the perfect one for us- Melanie had it decorated beautifully- the kitchen was so well stocked because of course I had to cook all their favorite Christmas dishes! Beds super comfy - view was gorgeous- and Melanie was so gracious and became a new friend though it all!! This is the place to go!

Absolutely great place!

This property is incredible! It's obvious the owners had a tremendous amount of detail in preparing the property; eleganlty constructed, beautiful interior finishes, quality appliances, well stocked, TVs everywhere, SUPER clean...just a great home! That is just the house, the private pier is equally as incredible as the home. Tie a shrimp on and throw it out you will definitely catch something in short order! Finally owners were a pleasure to do business with and very responsive to any questions! Definitely a must return to for us!

Gulf coast stay

Our stay was amazing! We loved everything about this place and location. The biggest bonus of course the views of the bay and the dock. Everyone was happy with their space and accommodations. This house has absolutely everything you could need or want onsite! Fully loaded kitchen for cooking. You have great outdoor spaces to gather as well. The dock was exceptionally equipped with fishing gear, crabbing gear, you name it. Loved every minute of it! Would immediately book this again. Owners very responsive and kind! Hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had ( and I’ve done many VRBO and ABNB).

Despite inclement weather the week before our arrival, we found the house in tiptop shape. Communication with the owner was great. She was super nice! Accommodations were VERY comfortable and they had thought of everything that a renter might forget or need to make their vacation extra great! HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for enjoy Gulf Shores, but avoid the traffic, crowds etc, because we would call this Gulf Shores adjacent! Close enough to enjoy everything, but far enough to avoid the chaos! Thanks again!!

Everything was on point! Clean✔️spacious✔️all the little extra touches ✔️ If there was any improvement I believe the guys would have preferred “softer” beds. The twin beds were truly firm but they did catch naps on the softer beds during the day. Otherwise there were no complaints to be had. Did NOT want to leave. It would be somewhere I could return to and recommend for others. Hostess was easy to communicate with too. PLUS I absolutely loved all the elephant decor … my kids knew that was a BIG win too❤️🐘

8 Days To Remember!

Melanie is an excellent hostess and everything she has on the property listing is accurate. If you want to unplug and let the Bay reconnect you to your life, then stay here. We spent every evening on the screened-in porch with an ever-changing sunset and moon rise. We snuck up there in the afternoons to take naps too when the fish weren't biting! We have vacationed on East Bay for six years and I can assure you this is one of the nicest properties available to rent. The next door neighbor became my fishing buddy too! We are coming back for sure! Thank you Melanie and Paul!

Relaxing stay on the bay

This home is the perfect place for relaxing on the bay! So many things to praise. The dock is perfect for fishing, crabbing and napping. The beds were very comfortable and felt like home. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking any meal. TV’s everywhere! Screened in porch is where we spent every morning and evening. We appreciated having soap, toilet paper, etc. Most VRBO’s don’t provide these items. This was the cleanest VRBO home we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few! The owner was very responsive and kind. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing your home!

Hi, we are Paul and Melanie Frey. We are from Cincinnati, Ohio. After owning vacation property in Florida for over 15 years, we visited and fell in love with Fairhope! We now split our time between Ohio and Alabama, with visits to Idaho, Georgia and SC to visit our children and grandchildren!

My husband and I have owned vacation rental properties for the past 15 years. Because these properties have always been our second homes, our properties have always been rated very highly by our guests! We keep our home super clean and try to anticipate. the needs of our guests, providing little essentials such as laundry detergent, condiments, plastic bags, aluminum foil, spices, etc that make your stay easy, convenient and Keep Your Grocery Costs Down!
