The home is set back from the road in a quiet rural neighborhood, nestled among stately pines. There is a partially fenced yard & front screened-in porch with comfortable wicker furniture. Conveniently located to ski areas, hiking trails, antique shops, restaurants, brewery, winery, distillery, Towns of Sheffield, Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lenox (home of Tanglewood), and many other cultural attractions.
The space
Remodeled with new Kitchen and baths, refinished original wood floors with deep rich mahogany tones, bring this unique home back to life.
Convenient first floor bedroom with ample closet space and queen-sized bed. First floor full bath, next to the bedroom, den with roll-top desk for dedicated workspace. Spacious living room, well equipped eat-in kitchen and breakfast bar with plenty of counter space for food prep, complete the first floor.
The second floor has a separate laundry room with washer/dryer and second bedroom with queen-sized bed and private bath with soaking tub.
Guest access
Guest have full access to the property, except for the basement (which is unfinished).
Other things to note
The weather closed in on us before we were able to complete some of the exterior improvements, including landscaping which will be completed in the Spring 2023, but there is a fire pit in the backyard for those who wish to toast marshmallows.
