I love being a host, and making sure our guest feel at home while visiting Downeast Maine.

Why they chose this property

My husband was born in Lubec. He has lived there most of his life. Our home is Centrally located in Lubec's fishing village. Within walking distance to all downtown amenities, and Mowry Beach. It is on the route of The Bay of Fundy International Marathon.

What makes this property unique

Lubec is a hidden gem, but has gained popularity lately. It is the Easternmost town in the Continental USA. Home to West Quoddy Head State Park, and Quoddy Head Lighthouse. When visiting the Lighthouse, You will be standing at the Easternmost Point in the USA!
The Village has a working waterfront. A coastline dotted with fishing boats. Sit down by the boat ramp and watch the fishermen come and go with the day's catch.
Lubec offers multiple restaurants and gift shops. We also have an antique shop. Enjoy fresh seafood, from the day's catch at local restaurants! Gift shops full of unique, and locally hand crafted items.
Visit Summer Keys Concerts. Summer Keys also offers a music program that is very popular. People from all over come to Lubec to take music lessons on various instruments.
The Lubec Historical Society is a great take in. Step back in time and learn about the fishing industry, and the impact this small rural town had with its sardine factories. Lubec was once named the Sardine Capital of the World!
Take in a whale watch. Tours leave the wharf as scheduled. There are plenty of hiking trails and beaches to explore along the Bold Coast. Seaglass, along with other beach treasures, to be found along the shoreline. Beach combing is always a favorite with tourists and locals!
Visiting our neighbors in Canada. Lubec is a border town with Campobello Island NB Canda. You'll need your passport when crossing the International Bridge to the Island. Campobello offers restaurants and gift shops, and plenty of hiking trails as well.
A popular spot to visit is Roosevelt's International Park! This is the summer home of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. The home has been preserved as a museum. Offering a guided walk through the home with much to learn about the Roosevelt's and their summer stays on the island. Tea with Eleanor is Very Popular and recommended to make a reservation. Outside of the home is a Nature park with beautiful ocean views!
