Great experience

The location is perfect. Easy to get to San Francisco, the coast and San Jose for day trips. Equally easy to access medical care at Stanford or the VA. Plus it's just a few blocks to lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The guest house is well designed and beautifully appointed. If, like us, you want to be able to prepare complete meals onsite, the kitchen has everything you will need. My husband and I will cheerfully stay here again whenever we need to be in the south bay area.

Heaven in Redwood City ca

To say this place was heaven is no understatement. My wife and I stayed at this property for 72 days as I recovered from cancer treatment at Stanford medical center. The property was as described maybe even better. It was clean, quite and had everything we needed but food!! It is located in a very nice neighborhood about 1 mile from downtown Redwood City. There is a Kaiser hospital and pharmacy about 2 miles, Stanford Medical center is less then 7 miles. There is a nice park within walking distance. Lots of shopping close by. Only 15 miles to Half Moon Bay and Pacifica. I would recommend this property in a heart beat!!

Wow, what a great place to stay. The house and rental in the back are perfect for a nice quiet getaway. We had to stay within 15 miles of Stanford Hospital for our cancer treatment and this was the place that we picked. The interior was fantastically clean and new. Having separate areas like the living room and kitchen and the bedroom really helped with my husband’s healing. Having a walk-in shower was just like home. We also had access to the housekeeper. The owners were very easy to get a hold of if there were any problems. Their response time was in a timely manner, usually within an hour. It was very nice of them to ask us how we were doing, and they noticed that my husband was making improvements. That really helped him feel good. This was our first time staying in the VRBO and I would recommend it to all my friends and anyone going though cancer treatment from Stanford.
