About this property
This Old House By The Park
Mi Casa Es Tu Casa -
This Old House is 100 years old this year! Still standing strong. This spacious 5 bedroom house with 2 full bathrooms has gone through multiple makeovers. A few of the original finishes are still in display. For instance, the hardwood floors are originals and it shows, but still holding its own, beautifully. Both bathrooms are plenty big, have been updated while keeping the old cast iron tub in place. Nice and solid. Each bedroom has a queen or full size bed and can sleep two just fine. The family room has two oversized powered-operated sofas and a 55" flat screen tv. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances trimmed with granite countertops and complemented by the dining area just a few steps away. Laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. This Old House offers comfort and convenience. You can sleep comfortably here, cook yourself a meal, relax, watch tv or simply do nothing. Its designed to help you feel as close to "home" as possible.
The best part of This Old House is its location. Easy access to I-77, I-20 and I-26. Downtown Columbia is less than 3 miles away. Nightlife is just a few minutes away. An expansive list of restaurants and social venues are abundant in and around Downtown. Minutes drive to landmarks such as the State Capital, Prisma Health Hospital, University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson just to name a few.
For peace of mind, This Old House has multiple exterior security cameras in place. Both, the police department and fire department are less than half a mile away. The recently revitalized Hyatt Park, situated across the street, has multiple security cameras around the park. Since the revitalization of Hyatt Park, the park has attracted more visitors, families of all ages. The park offers a playground for younger children, basketball court and a baseball field. There's walking trails and benches to hang out. An interesting landmark.
We welcome your visit to This Old House.
