House was extremely clean! Nice area with nice windy backroads and a short drive to town, everything worked as it should and had no issues from booking to checkout whatsoever. Definitely an option for anybody wanting to come stay down here for a good price.
We don’t usually leave reviews, but this rental did not meet expectations. We are not overly picky and have stayed in this area many times, but this home needs maintenance. The TV didn’t work, there was no WiFi (and little cell service), and the pillows were very poor quality. I thought WiFi was due to storm, but it didn’t work before the storm. The front door lock failed on our second day, which was concerning, though a kind maintenance worker did fix it after an hour wait- the delay was not his fault. Check-in information and the door code were not provided until we contacted VRBO. I checked every correspondence and it was not provided. The space is very small but cute. Bathroom floors are soft and bubbling, and there is noticeable cosmetic damage. There is no bedroom furniture for luggage. The beds are firm memory foam and may suit some guests. The location is okay—not truly downtown—but an easy drive. With proper upkeep, this could be a nice place for a small group. Bears are active in the area, so take precautions with your vehicle.
Nice little house. Enjoyed the hot tub and porch. It was also close to our soccer tournament location. I reserved the wrong date by accident and she did credit me for a future date which is great she definitely did not have to do that.
Only complaints were it smelled like an old house it needed a plug in. Really wished that it had a washer and drier for our soccer uniform to be cleaned in between games. Other than that it was a very nice place in a great location for what we were doing.
Overall I would give the property 3.5 stars and the host 5 stars. The property is in a great location with all of the essentials. The beds were very comfortable. And the checkout process was easy without requiring a ton of cleaning/rules. The host was quick to respond and resolve issues. A few things that would be nice to have are more towels or a washer/dryer to wash them because with a hot tub and showering they went quickly. There is a musty smell in the property but you stop smelling it pretty quickly. There were a lot of marks on the walls and some stains on the pillows which was not ideal. Overall the property was good and we would stay there again for the price. If a few fixes/upgrades are done then it definitely has the potential to be a 5 star property.
