About this property

Our cottage in Chalet Village is only 10 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, the Smoky Mountain National Park or Pigeon Forge. The mountain views are stunning. The cottage offers two gas fireplaces, a hot tub, a new kitchen with a granite countertop and stainless steel appliances. The home has new furniture and new flooring throughout. If you're up for a bear sighting, you're likely to get one here during their active season. This is one of our favorite properties for sure!

Stunningly Beautiful!!

Beautiful chalet! The driveway as everyone comments can be a tad intimidating especially the first time driving up but you get used to it. We were a group of 5 and we all had a bed. The master bedroom is Amazing! The downstairs bedroom is great for a family. My husband & I shared the bed while our 20 year old 130 pd daughter slept on the top bunk. I was able to fit in the bottom bunk and could have slept there comfortably, I’m 5’8” 200 ish pds, no problems. Our family friend slept on the living room couch. We did not pull it out into the bed and she said she slept well there. The view is Awesome, a slice of heaven! The ski mountain pizza place was great and we highly recommend! Communication with the owners was easy and informative. They even welcome you to a bottle of wine during your stay. We were just there for a night but this succeeded all expectations and we will be back! Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay. Great location with a great view. The driveway was pretty steep, but it made up for it with the complete stay of the place. My family enjoyed it and will definitely consider this place again in the future.

Hi, we're Shopes' Vacations. We're a family business. Randy (dad) renovates and manages the properties, Dana (mom) designs and decorates them, and Logan (8-year-old daughter) is our head inspector. Logan makes sure all of our properties are child approved! We have most of our listings on another platform but decided to give VRBO a shot! Welcome VRBO guests!

AMAZING VIEW! We love this cottage! We bought this place because of the "feel". It's so homey, cozy, happy. This place is amazing for family, friends and couples alike. Do you dare our driveway? We hope you do. The driveway is steep but there is plenty of parking at the top and the VIEW is worth it! The cottage has an Amazon Echo. Simply ask Alexa to play music, help locate area grocery stores, restaurants, attractions and more!

What makes this property unique

Two gas fireplaces, hot tub with a gorgeous mountain view, plenty of bear sightings during the summer, fully stocked kitchen. Great memories will be made at the Cottage for sure!
