Appalachian Lofts - Fiddlers Roost

Get that hometown feeling in our newly remodeled Loft within walking distance of Historic Main Street Galax Virginia. The Fiddlers Roost is a spacious two bedroom suite that features a full size kitchen, spacious living room and bathroom with comfortable amenities. A short walk to everything such as restaurants, entertainment, Antique Shops, Coffee Shops, New River Trail, Historic Rex Theater, and about one mile from Felts Park, Home of the World’s Largest Old Time Fiddlers Convention.

**If the dates you are looking for are not available for the Fiddlers Roost, please check the New River Hideaway which is the downstairs suite for availability.**

Our Loft has a spacious living room with a 55” Flat Screen TV over an Electric Fireplace, Air purifier and a Futon for extra sleeping arrangements.

In the first bedroom is a spacious king bed with lamps on each side with plenty usb ports, 42” flat screen and a closet with some extra comfy blankets.

The second bedroom has two twin beds with a lamp in the middle with usb ports, 42” flat screen and a closet with extra comfy blankets.

The kitchen is fully stocked with full size appliances, utensils, plates, bowls and a Keurig Coffee Machine.

Full sized bathroom with shower/tub combo along with fresh towels.

Complimentary WiFi and you are welcome to use your own Netflix, Hulu and other accounts on the smart TV’s.

We have a secured area in the basement for bicycle storage and electrical boxes for EV Bikes. We can provide a code for the door upon request.

** The loft has about 13 steps to the top therefore we are not handicap accessible.

Automated lights on the stairs at night and hallway light at top of steps which can be turned on at bottom of steps and inside the entry door.

Self-Check in with keypad on door.

Bed linens and blankets are washed after each guest. Blackstone griddle on porch for those nights for grilling steak or those mornings for pancakes.

Great spot to stay in Galax.

A friend and I had a great stay here. Everything we needed was provided, it was super clean and is very conveniently located, walking distance to downtown.

Bike Trip

My wife and I stayed here during an anniversary bike trip. We biked from here to Pulaski and biked back. Fiddler's Roost is very close to New River Trail. The rental was incredibly nice and probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. The hosts were very attentive, but not hovering. They were super responsive to any questions that we had. The rental is walking distance to downtown Galax and close to a nice brewery. Thank you for letting us stay here, and we will definitely stay here again when we bike this trail again.

What a great experience!

My husband and I were in Galax to bike the New River Trail. This property provided secured indoor storage for our bikes - big plus! The location of the property is excellent for walking to downtown and biking the trail. We had one small issue with the TV at the property. We reached out to Brian and Heather and they immediately went above and beyond to make sure we had a working TV- he delivered a NEW TV to the property! I am a bit of an "appliance snob". The appliances in this property are excellent and easy to use - they were super clean!. The instant hot water system is great! We are already looking at dates in the spring to come back to this property. If you are looking for a property in Galax, stop now, and book this one!
