This is a perfect location for those who want access to OCMD but don't want to actually stay in OCMD. The property was as listed, and was very clean up on check in. The owner was extremely responsive with questions and the neighborhood was quiet and safe.
We had a great time for a long weekend at the Granby house. It was just the right size for us and our two dogs. The property was clean and well stocked with necessities, towels and linens. Check in was super easy with keyless entry, and the neighborhood is nice - lots of amenities like pools, restaurants, and the Yacht Club. Sal communicated often and was clear with instructions on check in and check out. We would love to stay here again this summer or next year! Loved the back porch and was really happy to be able to bring our dogs.
This house was just perfect! It was a time for a graduation celebration and family vacation. Sal worked with me regarding pets and additional days due to last minute changes. He was quick to respond. The house was updated from the initial pictures which was a nice surprise. The screened in back patio was also a bonus…great for pets and sitting out there at anytime of the day or night. There was also a warm welcome note with special touches awaiting our arrival. It was a great location to OC and Assateague. I would definitely stay again and recommend this home.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
I was disappointed in the property
We arrived and there was no toilet paper at the property. There were no wash cloths and no hand towels at the property. No instructions for the wi-fi no instructions on how to work the tv. Furnishings were old/outdated. There were no start-up supplies available.
The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. Had no issues at all during our 1 week stay. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood yet close enough to the beach. We loved it!
Great rates, adequate space with a unexpected twist
I booked this to handle a 2 night job in Berlin MD. Wasn't looking to spend a lot as it was mostly a place to shower and rest. The neighborhood is nice with nice amenities although we didn't use them. There's off street parking for 2 although you can squeeze in 3 maybe 4 cars. On arrival we noted the "pet friendly" home wasn't cleaned. mostly hair on the floor and sofa. The host promptly handled it and discounted our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and all utensils needed. Even multiple brands of coffee. There's plenty of nearby shopping which we appreciated. The onsite laundry allowed us to wash our clothes before packing to head home.
THE TWIST- The home offers no bed sheets and linen. Just a mattress in a plastic cover. I had to purchase bed spreads, sheets, blankets and pillows for the 3 rooms. I also got towels, wash cloths, soap n shampoo at the local Walmart. This was costly. This is in the description in a "Note" way down in the description that I missed. Lastly, the plastic bed cover doesn't allow your body heat to disperse. So if you're a hot sleeper like me, this doesn't work. Id recommend bringing some kind of bed topper (But who wants to pack all that)
If you don't mind bringing your own bedding, this pet friendly place is a affordable rental in a nice area very close to the beach.
Great location for us for a short weekend volleyball tournament. House is small so it would only work for a short stay. Not having towels and linens was a bit of a pain but ok. We'd use it again if we had a tournament in the area
The location and neighborhood was fantastic. Just felt the living room was a little small not enough seating and the small couch was very uncomfortable. Bigger TV in living room would be nice
Nice clean house! Beautiful neighborhood to take my dog for a walk!
My complaints about the place were that their wasn’t enough of the necessities…. Toilet paper, paper towels & hand soap, so we had to make a trip to the store for that. The tv’s aren’t big enough! And we had to use one remote for 2 rooms! Other then that would rent again! Our family had a great time☺️

Liked: Cleanliness, location
They didn’t tell us!
The place was nice, clean, and in a very nice neighborhood. I felt that there was not enough information given ahead of time or specific enough. For example, the website had said no linens were provided which to me means no sheets, but there were no blankets or spreads either. We had to go buy them. Then the thermostat was set very cool and we didn’t know how to turn it up. When I tried to find out information, I went to the app and the website, both of which were hard to navigate for answers. It would have been nice to have some printed instructions for when we got there about trash and recycling, good restaurants, where to go and what to do to partake in amenities such as the indoor pool, tennis, etc, and there was nothing there for entertaining ourselves, such as bikes or puzzles. The porch was lovely, but it got cold! (Our luck.) I ended up communicating with Salvatore and he was helpful, but for most of the time we felt sort of in the dark. A suggestion for the future would be a fence for the dogs! Thanks.
