It was a great stay. House was clean and decorated very nice. Enjoyed the 2nd living area very cozy. Loved the lights outside. Location was great. Very quiet and neighbor's were friendly.
My family had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming home. The location was perfect with short drives or walks to visit attractions and shops. The house was extremely well stocked with everything we needed. It was also very clean and exactly as described. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit Manistee and we hope to visit again.
The location was convenient to the family activities we participated in. The home itself was lovely, clean and comfortable. Seriously considering of using it again if we come back to explore the area!
We had an amazing stay! This house was just perfect, everything about it was amazing! Location was just blocks from local restaurants and shopping, neighborhood was safe. Susan (host) was awesome and communicated with me every step the way. I would definitely stay here again!
Very nicely renovated home in quiet, quaint neighborhood. Home is very well appointed. Would have liked air conditioning, but otherwise we were very comfortable.
It was fantastic - close enough to town to walk to the marina, beach, restaurants and shopping. Beautiful outdoor backyard space perfect for relaxing around the firepit or grilling dinner. Super clean and spacious inside! Susan was very quick to respond and very gracious. This will be our go-to place when we come back to Manistee!
It is so comfy! Very well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the lake. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property 💙
Beautiful, clean, well maintained, adorable home! Located in downtown Manistee. Quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Our stay was WONDERFUL! Unfortunately the weather prevented us from enjoying the patio. Michigan Cherry coffee was a treat Saturday and Sunday morning.
Great house and location; it's close to downtown Manistee for shopping and restaurants. The house met all of our needs and it nicely decorated. We stayed for 4 days and never had an issue. Host is very friendly and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend. Hoping to return next year.
My husband and our dog and I, couldn’t have felt more at home in this wonderful place! Everything about it, suggests comfort and peace. It’s also so fresh and clean smelling! The beaches are close, as well as a charming downtown. And everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming! We will back soon!
It is a beautiful house, clean, well stocked in a perfect location. The only challenge we had was that I didn’t realize it did not have air conditioning and we stayed in one of the hottest weeks of the year. Admittedly the listing did not indicate air so that’s on me, but I think others may want to be prepared.

About the host

I grew up traveling northern Michigan and Manistee was where we always stayed! I have a deep love of all things Michigan, even though I live in Indiana. It is our dream come true to own a home here and share it with you.
Why they chose this property
We rented this home a couple summers and conversing with the previous owner, we shared our desire to own our own piece of Manistee. They offered the house to us for sale and the rest, as they say, is history!
What makes this property unique
This house is so peaceful. I couldn't dream of telling you otherwise. In the summer, it is quiet and in the winter, it is a dream. Even though there is no AC, when the windows are open at night, it is quiet and cool.
