Quiet country home sitting on about 3 acres just on the outskirts of the historic town of Hillsborough. Peaceful views from the front porch and back patio overlooking a large fenced in family and pet friendly yard with a wooden play ground. Welcoming scenery for bike riding or walking locally or just in town, as well as several places to explore, hike or go sight seeing!

This property is exactly as listed, was clean, comfortable, organized and perfect for our girls weekend. We loved being close to the sweet town of Hillsboro, while enjoying country life. Our host provided all the information we needed, responded to questions quickly, and made the check in and out process simple. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay at this house and it was great. The house is clean and peaceful. The patio was perfect for relaxing evenings. My dog loved the fenced yard to be able to run around off leash after a long day at the dog show. The host was very responsive to our questions.

The property was very well maintained and clean. It is a one level picturesque home on acreage with a large fenced in backyard and pretty landscaping. It makes for a relaxing and comfortable rural retreat.The hosts were very accommodating, pleasant and responsive in their communication with us. They are ideal hosts. This property is pet friendly. The home came with everything we could need to enjoy our stay. We look forward to renting this property again in the future.

Weekend Getaway in Hurdle Mills, NC

My friend and I stayed at this adorable house with our dogs for the weekend. We were in the area for a dog show and the location was ideal. The property was very clean and perfect for our weekend. The fenced back yard was great to let the dogs run as we sat on the deck in the evening with a glass of wine. We loved it and will be back!

Our family LOVED this home. It is in a beautiful country setting with lots of space to rest and relax. You're not far from the nearest gas station (5 minutes) or grocery store (11 minutes). The home was immaculate and the home owners were very responsive to the few questions we had. If we're ever in North Carolina again we will be staying here.

Out in a very beautiful, wooded area of North Carolina. The stay was great. Our only issue was the door handle stuck a bit when first opening our way into the home. Everything was clean and ready for us. We highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at the private country home. The location is why we like it. The house is on a quiet road with very little traffic. The only thing you have to worry about are the deer. The house is very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful

We were looking for a nice stop on our 2 week road trip. This was perfect with a nice yard where one could sit with a beer or coffee watching the fireflies (our favorite), listening to the birds, and smells of all the surrounding trees and flower. My daughter enjoyed the swing in the front yard, great selfie opportunities….. House was very clean, had all needed in kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for us 4.

A slice of heaven

I was working in Roxboro, NC and needed a quiet and comfortable space after work, and the home exceeded all of our expectations. Our dog, Sassy, loved walking on the grounds and lazing in the sun during the day. It was an easy check in process and the host, Kathleen, is responsive and so very nice to talk with if you have any questions or need anything at all during your stay. We would definitely stay again at this quiet, comfortable, and beautiful home the next time we are in North Carolina.
