This home is the PRIME SPOT for a wedding at Castle Hill or Ocean Cliff, or a summer vacation by the sea! This single family home sleeps up to 12 guests inside the main house with a private cottage on the property (bedroom only, no bathroom) . There is a large deck for entertaining, fire pit, small basketball court, and plenty of Adirondack chairs on the property to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon book!
Need beach towels? Chairs? All included! Plenty of parking on site and only 10 minutes drive to downtown Newport!

Perfect home base for Ocean Cliff wedding

For six of us there was plenty of space and the two large bathrooms worked for getting all dressed up for the nearby wedding. The deck, beach and yard were all super nice. Bikes are still a work in progress and Erin was completely helpful with that.

Felt like mermaids by the ocean

The house was lovely and Erin was kind and available! The expectations for checking out were very carefully set out in a binder. The expectations were kind of a lot, so do budget about an hour at the end of your stay before leaving. The private beach was so nice to walk across. It was good for a big group. There's space in the driveway for 3 cars comfortably.

Wonderful cottage, highly recommend

The Mermaid Cottage was a sunny, clean, homey, and attractive house. The views were lovely from all windows. The outdoor deck and seating on the lawn would have been great if the weather had been warmer. The area was delightful. We could walk to the Castle Hill Lighthouse and the beach. The owner was most responsive when we asked her questions about the area. Our family loved our stay here.

Short Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described, close to the beach, Castle Hill Inn and a short walk to the lighthouse. Met the needs of our group of ten very well.
