It was a great experience staying on against All Odds II.We had a challenge with the tv, but other than that great. We were able to use the hotel pool and shuttle which was a plus.
Our stay was good. Yacht was as described. There were fans provided in the bedrooms downstairs so we were comfortable. There is an info book provided which helped a lot.

The location was fabulous, due to the hotel’s amenities. Ie the hourly transport to downtown.pools and restaurants. The accommodations were a bit dated but adequate. The host responded immediately to our request!

Thank you, Leigh! We really appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the location and amenities, as well as the responsiveness during your stay.
Since your visit, I’ve gone down personally and made a number of updates and improvements to the boat to make the experience even more enjoyable for future guests.
If you’re ever planning another trip, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to offer you a reduced rate as a thank you for your feedback and for staying with us!
Great stay on Against All Odds!! Ian was very helpful host, quick to respond. Boat was very clean and comfortable. No disappointments, was exactly as advertised. Amenities at the resort are first class, we even had a free bbq one night complements of the marina. Free shuttle to downtown Key West made going and coming convenient. A neat experience to stay on a privately yacht rather than a motel!!Will definitely book again next time we visit The Keys.

This was exactly what was advertised, it was clean, and in a great location.
The on-site restaurant had great food. Also, all staff members we encountered were very friendly and accommodating.
I hope it’s available for our next trip.
Unique, fun, comfortable accommodations at an absolutely beautiful resort. Host was excellent with communication. Keep in mind it is a 1982 yacht. It was stocked with everything we needed.
OK for short stay. Some issues with AC & could use some updating. Clean & bed was comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re glad to hear you found the boat clean and the bed comfortable.
We do apologize for the AC issue during your stay. That has since been fully resolved, and the system is now working properly. We’re also continuing to make updates and improvements to enhance the overall experience.
We appreciate your stay and hope to host you again in the future.
The boat was in a peaceful location away from fantasy fest . The marina was great with many amenities . The bed was comfy and the weather was perfect . Great visit
We stayed in Perry Hotel and Marina on Ian's boat for 3 days and it was beautiful! Ian's boat was clean, spacious and had everything we needed! We had full access to the hotel amenities which we used because the weather was perfect.
This was a nice place to stay, not sure we would stay again this time of year, very hot very humid 95 degrees and 90% humidity. No fault of this property, just be aware of the time of year to stay in Key West.
The location is much better than the previous one. The boat is as awesome as ever but the Marina is outstanding! Restaurant, bar, entertainment, location! It's all here!
For the price, it was OK, there were no stairs on the pier so it was hard to get in and out of the boat, the second bathroom still isn’t working and I read that in the reviews, but I thought it would’ve been fixed by then, you could tell nobody stayed in it for a while, not all the lights worked. There were no extra blankets. The washer and dryer would not turn on, however it is Key West so we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. The resort was absolutely amazing with really good food and drink options. The boat was very close to the amenities which was really nice. I just wish that I would’ve been told at the time of booking or before the refund stage was expired about the bathroom not working, I read numerous comments about this from months ago, so obviously it’s a problem that is not getting fixed. That was a big deal. It’s one of the less expensive boats, which worked out for my budget, the owner was very responsive when asked questions so I guess they say you get what you pay for.

Hey Janene, sorry you feel this way!
All you had todo was speak up about a few things that you mentioned here and they would have been resolved for you.
Firstly the extra blankets and towels are under the bed which you never inquired about.
Secondly the washer and dryer does work but their was work done on the boat and the breaker was never flipped back (could of been solved by asking the host aswell)
the bathroom has been fixed since your reviews that you read, and then broken again right before your stay since it seems to be very delicate in its old age. I’ve now upgraded the boat with a very nice macerater pump style head that’s been giving zero issues moving forward.
As for the overhead lights, those are a new issue we have just been brought to our attention on a guest after your stay but instead of leaving it in the great review, He told me personally so we could fix it for the next guest . :)
Lastly the boat not having stairs at the dock, the tide moves and so does the boat. Stairs at the dock would be counter productive. Sometimes you arrive and the boat is higher than the dock. Sometimes you arrive and the boat is lower or flush to the dock. Stairs wouldn’t work. We have them on the deck for ease of getting on. Zero reason to have them on the dock itself.
I’m sorry there was a few things that weren’t up to your expectations but we have staff that lives in the marina who could of helped with any issues and made your trip perfect, contact us next time :)

We loved the yacht! We had one initial issue that was handled quickly by the team and had an otherwise outstanding stay! Would definitely book again! So glad we had this experience! The marina had everything you would need and was close to everything else yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet evenings. Perfect for what we were looking for. The only thing we would have liked more is to have a longer vacation, but that’s on us. We only had 5 days to take. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Cool staying on a boat as an adventure
Kinda cool accommodations. We were not made aware that the main toilet was put of commission. So only had the one in the master suite, or the marina facilities. There were no available outside seating.
We stayed at the property from 2/15 to 3/1.Our complaints:*No hot water at all. He DID send a repair man to assess the situation. The repair man did not return to fix the hot water issue. *A broken wooden step to enter the cabin. which could easily and cheaply have been fixed.*A pervasive pesticide odor that never abated in the LR. An outside cabinet was left unlocked, with a large pesticide container. It shared a wall with the LR. * Broken boat apparatus in boat exterior.* No steps on the pier side to get into the boat.* Dirty and rusted exterior sink* Exterior run down* Small vials of clear liquid all over the cabin, including the kitchen counter tops & bathroom. What are these? In an area where food storage and prep can occur? * Broken skylight handle/ kitchen*Broken, ripped and dirty shades in the LR area, except on the door window, where there is no shade, and thus no privacy. *Broken LR window glass*Metal areas, esp the front door, have significant areas of corrosion.* Dirty flooring canvas in the eating area of the kitchen.* Ice trays had hair in them.* Rusted wall unit in the bedroom, which might have controlled the heat or air. No air or heat in the bedroom. (It was in the 40's last night). A dirty industrial type fan was provided. We replaced it with another fan found on premises. * Rusted/moldy soap/tooth brush holders in the bathroom.* 1 washcloth provided.*The owner promised to reimburse us 250. As of 3/4/2026, this hasn't happened.

Thank you for your review. We take guest feedback seriously, but many of the claims listed are either inaccurate, exaggerated, or have since been addressed. For clarity, we’d like to respond point-by-point:
• Hot water: A technician was sent during your stay to assess the issue. Due to the vessel’s location in Key West, marine repairs and parts are not always immediate, but the issue was actively being handled—not ignored. Additionally, guests were not left without access to hot water, as the marina provides clean, private bathroom facilities with hot water available as a backup option.
• Wooden step: This was a minor issue and has since been repaired. Safe access to the vessel was always available.
• “Pesticide odor” / cabinet: The cabinet being referenced is located on the back deck—not inside the living space of the boat. There was no pesticide odor inside the vessel. I personally stayed on board for a full week immediately after your visit to address any concerns and can confidently confirm there was no such odor present in the cabin.
• “Broken boat apparatus”: This statement is extremely vague and was never reported during your stay. Comments like this, without specifics, do not reflect any identifiable issue.
• Pier-side steps: This is a standard marina boarding setup, not a defect. Guests step onto the gunnel and then use a three-step entry into the boat, which provides safe and normal access for a vessel of this size.
• Exterior sink / rust: The exterior sink is part of the boat’s fishing setup, not intended as a primary guest kitchen fixture. That said, we have since added a cover to improve presentation. Minor corrosion is normal in a saltwater environment.
• General “run down” / corrosion claims: This is a working vessel in a marine environment, and some cosmetic wear is expected. The boat is cleaned and maintained regularly, and additional detailing has already been completed.
• “Small vials of liquid”: This claim is not accurate. There were no unknown or unsafe substances left in guest areas.
• Skylight handle / minor hardware: Addressed after your stay.
• Shades / privacy: The vessel does have a rear window shade for privacy. This was not brought to our attention during your stay, and we would have been happy to point out its location if asked. No prior guests have reported privacy concerns.
• Broken window glass: This is incorrect—there was no broken glass affecting safety or usability.
• Dirty flooring / cleanliness claims: The vessel is cleaned between every stay. These concerns were never raised during your visit.
• Ice trays / bathroom items: Not reported during your stay. Any concern like this would have been immediately handled if brought to our attention.
• Bedroom heat / temperature: The bedroom is equipped with heat. It appears there may have been confusion on how to operate it, and we were not contacted for assistance. Additionally, temperatures in Key West were not anywhere near the 40s during this time.
• Fan / cleanliness comment: The fans provided were functional and intended as an added comfort option. The concern raised referenced internal dust within the fan housing, which is not visible or accessible during standard cleaning without disassembly and does not impact function or guest experience.
• Linens / washcloths: Standard linens are always provided. The claim of insufficient supply is inaccurate.
• $250 reimbursement: This was discussed as a potential goodwill gesture while concerns were being reviewed. However, given the number of exaggerated and unsupported claims made after the stay, that reimbursement was not issued.
Lastly, it’s important to note that the majority of these concerns were not communicated during your stay, which prevented us from addressing them in real time. You also completed your stay without requesting to leave early.
We stand behind our property and continue to improve it. Many minor items mentioned have already been corrected, and future guests can feel confident in the experience we provide.
