The Neighborhood:
The new Bywater is a safe, friendly and laid-back area, rated as one of the top 10 hippest neighborhoods in the country by the New Yorker. We are two short blocks from the Marigny/Bywater buzz, and are a short $5 Uber to the French quarter. We are located one block from St. Claude, in the St. Roch area, aka the New Bywater.
Right across the street is a top rated local coffee shop. We are within close walking distance are some of the best bars and restaurants in New Orleans -- our favorite spot nearby is Bacchannal. Whether you’re a family, colleagues, or a group of friends, the Bywater has something for everyone.
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by bike or Uber. The main Bywater dives (The Country Club, Oaxalis, Suis Generis, Elizabeth's, etc.) are less than a 5 minute walk. The French Quarter is a short taxi/uber away; however, many locals prefer to spend time here in the Marigny/Bywater, on Frenchman Street, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes that are all nearby.
Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe, but we do recommend that you be aware of your surroundings at all times.

-We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.
-We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.
-We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.
-Pets are not allowed at this property.
-Mailing packages to the premises is not permitted.
-We use Arlo and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

You will have complete privacy here. Every question you ask or concern you may have before or during your stay will be promptly addressed via messenger or phone. In the case of a maintenance emergency, our ground team is available to assist you. Entry is keyless, meaning there’s no need to coordinate key pick up.
