Great Location.... New Orleans ranked 2nd best U.S. city by Travel + Leisure in 2015 -2019
Travel + Leisure attributes New Orleans' rise in the rankings to a growing number of new hotels, shops and restaurants across the city as well as the thriving Faubourg Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods.
Our home is a vacation rental for a nice place to stay while you are in our home. We do not allow any parties, receptions, functions, and anything in that order. Sorry, but we are in a Historic Neighborhood, and we must respect our neighbors.

Your welcome, glad you enjoyed our historical home. Thanks
This is a wonderful little shotgun house in Bywater, which is a really nice location in an historic neighborhood - close to the French Quarter and Frenchmen street.
There is a shared wall with another shotgun house but the neighbors were fine.
The courtyard is wonderful, the AC kept the place comfortable. All in all a very charming New Orleans style place.
Highly recommended!

Great Weekend Getaway Spot
We really enjoyed our stay at Gabrielle Grace Manor. Tony and Cathy were excellent, attentive hosts. The house had everything we needed and then some. Aside from some construction during the day, the neighborhood was generally quiet and we felt very safe. I’m was a perfect distance from the bustling, tourist areas of the city.

Thanks you for the review. You are sooo right we do take a lot of pride in all 3 of our vacation rentals. Most of all we want our guest to feel like their at home and living the New Orleans experience. Also we do like to show off our awesome city of New Orleans.
Great location, super clean, and the decor is refreshingly eclectic.
I expected that parking would be an issue but I was able to park right in front every time.
Cathy was very easy to work with and flexible when I had a scheduling snafu. We would definitely stay again if available.
Take this classic New Orleans house in a great neighborhood, Bywater, and you have the recipe for a great stay!!!! Tony and Cathy could not have been better, with both communication before and during our stay. The house and location gives you a great base for exploring The Quarter, Garden District, etc all of which are close by. After your day out you can return to the peace and quiet of Bywater, and as we did, try out some of the local bars and restaurants. We will definitly stay her on our next visit!!!!
The house was perfect for the 3 of us. We were able to walk into downtown, French quarter, along the river. It was a very nice walk. I wish I would have checked out the neighborhood a little more. They had a few food places and local bars that would have been nice to try. We were more interested in Mardi Gras. We went to Bacchanal Fine Wine, it was a lot of fun. I definitely recommend it. The neighborhood was very friendly.
Truly one of the best experiences I've had. The house has been updated without losing the shotgun historical features. Beds were incredibly comfortable. The neighborhood was highly walkable, full of cafes, and very friendly neighbors. We walked Crescent Park and down to French Market and French Quarter. Jumped on the streetcar for further distances. Most of all Cathy and Tony provided the ultimate ease and communication. By far one of my best experiences. Thank you so much for providing this wonderful home in a great neighborhood, your restaurant recommendations, and especially your professional yet personable experience.

Terrific location, comfy beds, nicely appointed. Loved it all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cathy and Tony's place. After needing help to get inside (be sure to check the street number of the door you are trying to open to spare yourself making a "I'm too stupid to notice the address" call to them), Cathy called back immediately, taught me how to read and we were inside their very excellent place. The place was clean and very nicely appointed. It was great to have a washer and dryer right there. We walked to many places we needed to visit as we were there for a memorial service. And it is close to the French Quarter as well, though we found the relative calm in the Bywater a haven from the activity in the FQ and it was lovely to always have a place out front to park our car. I'd recommend this place to anyone--so long as you are OK with walking through someone's bedroom to use the bathroom if you are using both beds. We were and didn't mind--fortunately our friend using the other room is a good sleeper. The wifi and TV worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. Go now and enjoy!
As an aside, be sure to take an evening walk along the river at Crescent Park and if you have transportation (Uber worked very well from here too) don't miss the fabulous sculpture garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. There is tasty food at Elisabeth's nearby and a nice little local library a block away on a street over. Thanks Cathy and Tony. We'll be back.

We own and manage The Gabrielle Grace Manor and three other rentals. We are on the outskirts of New Orleans known as Bywater Neighborhood it’s only minutes away from the French Quarter and about 1.4 mile. Our families were fishermen and farmers. We grew up on the bayou In St. Bernard Parish where we learned to live off the land. We also had a Seafood Business where we sold and shipped shrimp, crabs, oysters, and fish, mostly to New Orleans and Baltimore. Our families and us all share the love for our beautiful city "New Orleans". Lic#22-CSTR-18162 Operational Lic 24-OSTR-04092
