The cabin, property and everything about the stay was perfect. The river that runs next to it is beautiful and has the most calming noise. This was exactly what I needed! The owner communicated well and I had everything needed prior to arriving.
The scenery was beautiful. The cabin was cozy and relaxing. We really loved the creek beside the cabin. Our dogs loved walking around the property. We would definitely stay there sgain.
Cabin was absolutely gorgeous. The inside was cozy and getting to sit out on the porch with the creek near by was pure bliss. Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing experience.
The cabin is a gem! So clean. Fully furnished, very comfortable , king bed was very comfortable, location, roomy, and natural esthetic. A great place to kick back!
This cabin is a little piece of heaven, it is nice and quiet, beside a stream, beautiful surroundings, dog friendly, no leash all weekend, very comfortable, screened in front porch and back porch with a swing and rocking chairs. Such an enjoyable place!
The babbling brook called our names. The home is rustic frontier and very clean. There was a glitch at our arrival and was a little inconvenient. However, Kim was on top of it and we had opportunity to talk and relax with locals who gave us more insight into the area. Also, owners were gracious with compensation. We totally relaxed and enjoyed visit.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very clean & everything was just as described. The internet was down but we were informed of that beforehand & we made the best of it! We will definitely be coming back to this cozy getaway!
We loved to listen to the stream from the screened porch or the bed swing. The cabin was perfect for us and looked just as advertised. Wonderful, restful stay.
Very cute and decorated, only negative was hot water didn’t last long.

Bonnie, thank you for your review. This is the first we've heard of this issue. I'm so sorry. Please reach out to us next time and we'll come right out.. We will take a look at it. Thank you
Tucked back in the woods with a wonderful mountain view and peaceful stream. Away from everything but close to everything. We stayed here while getting married in town at the beautiful Tiger Mountain Vineyards just minutes away.
Overall, the cabin was very nice and clean. We went out shopping and out to eat and just laid around and relaxed.

Welcome to our hideaway where it feels you have run away from the world. When we bought our property we never intended to use it for an VRBO. We planned on just bringing our 6 dogs out here and enjoying some peace and quiet while playing with the idea of planting Christmas trees.
However, we have always believed if we are blessed with it, we should share it. When we met our co-host and manager, Michelle Edwards, it was a no-brainer. We are able to enjoy our little slice of heaven but still let others enjoy it when we are not here. We included a little bit of history about cabin.
Enjoy the peace and quiet while sitting by Warwoman Creek!

Why they chose this property
There is no better way to start your day than sitting on the screened in porch in the early morning with a warm cup of coffee listening to the creek bubble and splash. Your furry animals will love playing in the creek and running around the 3-acre property. You feel like you away from the crazy world but you are only 10 minutes from Clayton as well as hiking trails and vineyards.
What makes this property unique
History of 109 Black Diamond Road:
109 Black Diamond Road is a 3-plus acre lot along Warwoman Creek in Rabun County, six miles east of Clayton Georgia, and 4 miles due west of the Chattooga River, separating Georgia and South Carolina.
The main structure is a log cabin built in 1985, from logs harvested from the local forest. All the construction effort was done on-site to include using a portable Saw Mill to mill the logs.
Culver Christmas Trees:
The grandfather of the owners of 109 Black Diamond Road, G. Earl Culver purchased several hundred acres of land around Vogel Center, Michigan in the late 1950’s, and began planting Christmas trees soon afterwards. When he died in 1979, his son Don continued the business until he died in 2013. Don’s sole surviving daughter elected not to continue the business.
In 2022, we decided to re-start Culver Christmas Trees, at their property on Warwoman Creek, with the idea of planting at least 50 trees a year that would be available for sale when matured. In the Spring of 2022, they planted the first crop of 45 trees in three species; White Pine, Scotch Pine and Colorado Blue Spruce. Within a month of planting, we murdered at least 30 of the trees while trying to learn the intricacies of driving a Zero-Turn lawn mower. Sadly, we have to report that by the end of June only 10-15 trees remained viable. It is hoped that the 2023 crop has a higher survival rate. :-)
