Loved this cozy retreat within a short walk to downtown Clayton. This location gave us excellent access to enjoy several restaurants and shops, but still felt like a private retreat in the forest. We enjoyed the hot tub, deck and fire pit area by the creek. The house was well appointed and clean with several thoughtful touches great for a relaxing stay. We will definitely stay again!

The creek side home was perfect for our anniversary! It was very clean, had extras in the kitchen, and wonderful relaxing hot tub. It was close to downtown, yet felt very secluded. Clayton is a fun town with lots of restaurants and plenty of activities nearby.

This was such a cute cabin and was perfect for our girls trips. It was a perfect location to downtown Clayton. The cabin itself was perfectly appointed and had everything we needed. We didn't have an opportunity to use the firepit or hot tub because it rained the weekend we were visiting. We did enjoy sitting on the porch relaxing and listening to the rain. I would 100% recommend!!

This adorable creekside cottage is in the perfect location. Very private and serene but only a short walk to restaurants and shops. Heather puts a lot of thought into all the little extras to make your stay even better. Have already booked this place for our anniversary trip next year.

The home was just lovely! It was so accessible to downtown Clayton (5 minute walk) and so close to any activity you may want to do! The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained! Although it was located very close to the road, the road noise was very minimal and not an issue at all! The hostess was very attentive and responded whenever I asked anything of her! The home was just idyllic!

Clean, comfortable and cute! The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the deck, the hot tub and the sitting area by the fire pit. We really loved being able to walk right into town and enjoy shopping and lunch! The host was great! We will definitely be back to stay!

The house was clean, warm, and welcoming. It is in a very private setting in the woods, but a very easy walk to local stores, dollar tree, or a nice local brewery. We had a great time sitting by the fire and in the hot tub with the sound of the creek behind us, the kids even enjoyed a little swim. The creek is only about a foot at the deepest, so it was a short swim, but they enjoyed it!

Heather, our host, was wonderful! She reached out to make sure our stay was going well, and she was very friendly. The cabin was awesome. Very private. We booked her place because it was right next to a creek, which was so relaxing! The cabin was great and just the right size for 3 of us to have a comfortable stay. We hope to be back in the summertime so that my daughter can enjoy playing in the creek!

Simple stroll into town

We enjoyed the attention to detail and the easy walk to town in this quaint cabin that is exactly as advertised, and a great choice for a small family. We would certainly stay here again.

Clayton Cottage

The cottage was perfect. It is furnished with everything you can think of and more. We used the hot tub and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. I truly enjoyed the easy walk into town.

Great location

We came to Clayton to do lots of hiking so we didn’t stay at the cabin a lot but the location was great. On the creek in the woods but seconds away from downtown Clayton to grab smoke diner

Wonderful

Great place to spend time too get away from it all. Loved that it was walking distance to downtown Clayton, which has plenty of shopping and places to eat. The house has a beautiful outdoor area, but wish it would have had a gas bbq grill. Definitely will be going back.

My husband and I both really enjoyed our time at this house. It was a perfect retreat from a busy week. The house was very clean and very peaceful. The space near the creek was a wonderful place to sit and reenergize. And Heather quickly responded when we had a question.
