Sleeping Arrangements:

- Bedroom: 1 Queen-size bed with a 12-inch mattress and 100% cotton linens.
- Living Room: 1 Sofa bed, ideal for an extra guest or a relaxing evening in.

The unit features a fully equipped kitchen with sleek stainless steel appliances and a private full bathroom. It’s a spotless, reliable sanctuary for researchers, professionals, or anyone looking to explore New Haven with ease!

We provide a starter set of essentials (TP, soap, etc.), but long-term guests should plan to restock. To keep things fresh, we have a mandatory monthly pest service—no rescheduling, but we’ll alert you early!

Please note: no mailbox access, one pre-approved pet under 45 lbs is welcome ($150 fee), and parties are a no-go. If you need flexibility, ask about our $50 early check-in (2 PM) or late check-out (12 PM) options. We can’t wait to host your New Haven adventure!

As part of our check-in process, all guests are required to submit a valid ID and a selfie for verification, and sign the rental agreement via our online check in form before arrival. This helps us confirm reservations and keep the property secure for all guests.

Great Place to stay in New Haven!

The property was great. Clean and comfortable! Great communication from the owner. Its not the entire house as there was someone staying upstairs. Otherwise the experience was great!

Close to the action and very attentive hosts

Stay was great. You are within a longish walk or very short drive of all the good stuff in and around New Haven. We had a little mix up with the bedding left by the laundry service but hosts fixed it right away. Unique unit with some fun character. Would stay there again.

Very cozy house accessible to the main campus at Yale. Literally turn the corner and walk straight into campus. Updated bathroom and kitchen. Very good wifi with access to streaming services on the television. Secure and private parking in the back of the house.

Unpleasant from start to finish

Property is not a single family home; “off street parking” was a nightmare; entrance to other parts of multi family home was not blocked off for privacy; impossible to control heat (ac blasting all night no matter what we did w thermostat) and we had to leave suddenly due to a medical emergency and host was unsympathetic to say the least. I would not ever recommend this property despite the lovely woodwork inside

On both nights of our stay we dealt with loud noises from the apartment above going past 1:30 AM. This was unsettling and prevented us from getting a good night’s sleep. While the pictures online are accurate as regards the interior – it was clean and updated - they don’t illustrate the unfortunate exterior environment. The “off street parking” is a communal dirt area behind two houses with potholes and a very narrow driveway connecting it to the road. If you have a minivan or a larger car, you may want to think twice, as it is a really tight squeeze to get back there. We were greeted by a torn-up bag of garbage right next to the house as we walked from the parking area to the front door. Despite notifying the host, it remained there for the duration of our stay. Upon arriving at the rental, you see that it is across the street from an abandoned warehouse/factory. It does look like it is being renovated further down the street, so hopefully it will transform sometime soon.
