Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Little Pequaywan ~ Great for all seasons
Beautiful Lake Cabin on Private Smith & Little Pequaywan Lakes Escape to our fully remodeled 2-bedroom, 1-bath lake cabin — a cozy 900+ sq. ft. retreat designed for rest, fun, and connection. Tucked among tall pines on a quiet private lake, it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy everything the Northwoods has to offer.
Inside the Cabin ~ Step inside and you’ll find a bright, open-concept space with a modern kitchen, island seating, and lake views from every angle. Everything inside is updated — from appliances and furniture to lighting and décor. It’s clean, fresh, and thoughtfully designed for easy living.
The Property ~ Our 4-acre wooded lot gives you space to roam and relax in privacy. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, spend the day on the water, and end your evening around the beautiful fire ring areas watching the sun set over the water.
Lake Life ~ We’ve got all the toys! Kayaks, a canoe, 2 paddle boats, 2 paddle boards and other numerous floaties are ready for your use. The beach area has a clean sand-and-gravel bottom — perfect for swimming. Life jackets are provided for toddlers through adults. Want to explore more of the lake? Our 21’ pontoon boat with a 4-stroke motor is available to rent on a limited basis ($250/day or $1,000/week, gas included). The kayaks and paddle boards are located at our adjoining property. We live next door to the cottage so are available if you need anything but respect your privacy. Note: Smith and Little Pequaywan are private lakes — outside boats can’t be launched ~ Except for kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.
Fishing Fun ~ Fishing is excellent right from the dock! You’ll find panfish, bass, perch, and northern pike. Walleyes bite best in low light or cloudy weather — try near the submerged islands located on the northern part of the lake. Fishing gear is available free of charge; just let us know what you need.
Great for All Seasons • Summer: Swim, fish, and paddle in crystal-clear water. • Fall: Watch the colors change over the lake and hike nearby trails. • Winter: Snowmobile right from the cabin, ice fish, cross-country ski, ice skate on our skating rink (dependent on ice conditions) or cozy up and relax inside with a good book or movie. • Spring: Enjoy peace and quiet as the ice melts and wildlife returns.
No matter the season, this cabin offers peace, beauty, and adventure.
Dog Friendly We love dogs! Well-behaved pups are welcome with a $150 cleaning fee per dog. We just ask that they not be left alone in the cabin or allowed on the beds or furniture. Dogs must be in an enclosed crate if left unattended in the cabin. Note: Cats and other pets are not allowed.
Stay Connected We have Wi-Fi, internet, and TV. AT&T works best for cell service in our area; other providers may have limited coverage.

Why they chose this property
Welcome to our little corner of the Northwoods! We've called the Pequaywan area home for nearly 40 years, and it's a place we're proud to share with others. We love the quiet mornings, star-filled nights, the call of the loons, and the simple beauty that makes this area so special. Our family lives next door to the cabin, so we're close by if you need anything—from pointing you toward a favorite fishing spot or hiking trail to answering questions or helping if something comes up. Even though we're nearby, we want you to feel like the cabin is your own private getaway. We respect your space and privacy, and you'll only see us if you need us. Whether you're here to fish, paddle, hike, snowmobile, hunt, or simply unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet, we hope you'll feel right at home. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you experience the best of life in the Northwoods.
