It had nice air conditioning. The amount of TV's was very helpful for family. Kitchen could use another hot pad. This would help when trying get things out of the oven.
The home was well furnished and perfectly fit our needs. The home is a bit older, but clean and extremely comfortable. The host responded to all questions and requests very quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly adequate for a 4 day base camp. Carlsbad seems to be kind of a boom town currently...lots of oil & gas exploration going on with a noticeable gap between the have's & have not's. This place is in an old part of town. The neighborhood was different than we were accustomed to, but okay. Neighbors were pleasant and someone even pounded on the door at 11pm to invite us to a party. How nice :)

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The place is listed as sleeping 14, but was not supplied for anywhere near that many people. One of the sofa bed mattresses was covered with mouse droppings. There were only 4 spoons in the kitchen. Only six small towels were supplied. The place was just kept up well.
Listing was exactly as described. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which was great, after the hiking we did. Great location, clean, reaponsive, and accommodating.

Booked then had something come up & had to change booking. I asked the host & was changed hassle free. Calm , quiet neighborhood.
Great place for a quick overnight trip with the whole family
Nestled in an older resdential area, this property was a great place for our family to spend the night passing through Carlsbad (6 adults, 5 kids). There were some issues with the sofa couches, but we were able to do without. Host was VERY responsive via text to all of my questions and concerns. Smart TVs in every room was a nice bonus.

Honestly, I very rarely leave poor reviews. If you are looking for a place to sleep with lots of beds this house will work but that is about it. The kitchen barely had silverware, there was a weird smell in the bathroom, furniture was broken, the neighbor blares loud music every night, there was a socket barely attached to the wall in the bathroom and the dryer only worked if you pushed a button in and slammed the door just right. Our bed didn’t have a fitted sheet, just a flat sheet that wouldn’t stay in place. There were towels but honestly hard to tell what was dirty (towels hanging on hooks) vs clean. Again, if you just need somewhere to sleep, it will work but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Convenient location to Carlsbad Caverns. Lots of rooms and beds. Overall vey clean and comfortable but one of our party thought his sheets had an odor. TV in every room with lots of channels on Roku. Would certainly stay again.

Cute little place
This is a cute place. They are still working on it. It’s is actually three bedrooms; the “fourth” bedroom is a room off the kitchen with a pull out couch and curtains that can be closed on two sides of the room. It was clean and perfect for our one night stay.
The home is clean and has many beds. It has a very big tv in family room for group viewing. It’s a little run down but dry after a massive rain storm.

We liked all the beds. It has 6 full size plus bed. That worked great for we did not have to share beds. There is a tv in everyroom. It was a quiet neighborhood. My family and I enjoyed the stay. We stayed 3 nights.
