The cabin is small, cozy and met our needs. The location was great. The host was easy to work with. We appreciate it being dog friendly. Our unit was down some stairs and under another unit. I bet other units in the complex would be more convenient and maybe a bit more spacious.

Very small. Would not describe as one bedroom but efficiency. Not for anyone tall at all.

Unfortunately, the host never sent me the correct code to get in, then they refused to respond even to Vrbo. We had to get a room at a hotel, and fortunately, Vrbo was able to cancel and refund our money since the host didn’t even respond to their request.

Ruidoso rental

Pros: Good location, very clean, easy check-in, housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Cons: Bathroom is tiny, cabin is not well insulated, deadbolt did not work, we could hear every move from the neighbors upstairs and every time the used the water or flushed the toilet, cabin was freezing when we arrived and was either very hot or very cold.

Absolutely ruined out weekend we had planned out for a month

ON THE DAY of the reservation we got notified that the place was double booked. Absolutely insane that this is the thing that ruined our weekend. Even messaged them a day prior about the place without any hints that they were gonna do this to us. All packed up ready to go and then “oh sorry it was double booked, but don’t worry we do feel really bad about it”. We couldn’t even book anything because everything else was taken. Like if you’re listing your place on multiple apps then actually pay attention, it’s not that hard.for any future listing, do not book this place, they’re unreliable and probably going to cancel it on the day
