Perfect property

The property was a perfect set up of ropms and bathrooms! Love the kitchen and the counter space in utility room to sore extra drinks and food. The pool was perfect!

We enjoyed the location, size, and layout of the house. We were disappointed that the hot tub did not work- it was cold and the controls are locked from guest access. When you rent the home please be aware that there are no hangers in the house. Not a one. If you are have nicer clothes for an event be aware you will need to bring your own hangars. We also found the house to be extremely chilly. We could not adjust the air conditionings up or down and there is not a single extra blanket or throw in the entire house and carriage house. Lastly, this is not a comment on the house but on the neighborhood. We encountered a large, fat black bear when leaving the main house and going out to the carriage house. It had been in the trash and came toward my daughter when she surprised it . She was able to run up the stairs and get inside without harm. The bear came to the back door of the house which she had left open because she was just getting a jacket. I was able to close it when she called before he got in. The same bear came back a second night and disturbed the trash again. There is a small note on the watercolor community site that there may be bears, but there are not any signs on the trash can or anywhere that indicates that bears are active and roaming the neighborhood at night. This surprise encounter with the bear could have been terrible. We kept all children close and made lots of noise as we came and went each night.
