Great place overall, spacious and a nice layout. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed themselves. Kitchen is nice, no disposal (no biggie - due to septic system I think) Nice to have parking off the street for multiple vehicles. Small things that you might want to address - water pressure in Master bath was a trickle, sink was slow to drain, pocket door in master bath you have to wrestle with a little and TP holder in Master bath fell off wall. Also - it would be nice to have the hot tub working. As I said a great place overall and I would recommend!!
We recently stayed at a beautiful house by the lake, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities one could need for a relaxing getaway. The best part was its prime location—just a short hike away from the lake, offering stunning views right from the windows and a perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors. The peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the water lapping against the shore made for a truly serene retreat. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort.
Loved the home, layout was great. We stayed here over Christmas as my parents live in the neighborhood and we needed additional space. The owners knew we would have our children, and they put up a Christmas tree. The girls loved it. They were worried Santa wouldn't have a place to put the presents. Worked out great and the home worked great for us. We will definitely be staying again when we visit. Thanks you so much.
The house is accurately described in the description. It was a relaxing wooded cove view from the spacious covered back deck. The house is stocked well with everything we needed. There are two ways to access the water. We were able to navigate both without a problem. The access that leads you to a large sandy beach does have a lot of rocks along the inclined area. The right shoes are needed. Flip flops will make it more challenging, but we did it carrying an infant. Slow and steady and it will be worth it. I’m 65 and mobility is not an issue. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to beach the boat to pick up family members. We will definitely return.
Cristy was quick to respond to any questions. The house is very spacious with a large living room, master suite, dining and kitchen. Has a large patio and deck and lots of amenities. The little touches are so appreciated like dog bowls ready for the 4 legged guests, beach towels, a bag of ice in the freezer. There is a beach 1-3 minutes walk from the house but its big drop down to the beach. There is a bigger nice beach further down. My 11 year old grandson walked it in 5 minutes. My husband and I (in our 70's and me with a hurt knee) took a bit longer. Its some rough terrain in several places but my hiking sticks came in handy. The beach and the cove were great and not crowded. There was a beach wagon and folding chairs at the house that really came in handy. As did the gas grill and chimonea which we used for smores. Gas and firewood was provided too. Definitely recommend!

Misleading and Disappointing
Although the house was nice and clean don’t be fooled. It states beach access and lake front view both are inaccurate. Beach access was non existence unless you go for a hike basically. Thankfully a neighbor was able to let us no they there basically isn’t beach access unless on a boat. You would have to follow a rocky trail down to it which isn’t ideal for older adults. Luckily we had boats to just go to the islands on the lake. Good luck for parking if you a boater or just in general for big groups. Hot tub didn’t work at all seems like for awhile now based on the review about it from 2023.spent a pretty penny to be mislead and disappointed
We really enjoyed our stay here. The home and property are great, and the closeness of the fishing and swimming areas is perfect. All of my questions were answered quickly and they had everything we could possibly need already on hand.
The only negative was that the hot tub was leaking so it needed to be filled up and then it took quite a while to heat back up. I didn’t get to enjoy using it like I had hope to, so that was pretty disappointing. But I still enjoyed my stay and would go back, and would recommend to anyone. I would just suggest asking about whether the hot tub has been fixed and is working correctly before you book.
The house was nice and clean. There were no issues with check-in/out, maintenance, or amenities. There was excellent communication with the host. The beaches on the peninsula nearest this rental are not currently ideal with the water being so high and vegetation overgrown. The road to access them is fairly rough and might require a 4x4 vehicle if the ground is too wet. This is of no fault of the host obviously. The coastline to the north but in the same area has some good beach access (we entered on Arkansas St). It is a very wet year for the area so expect lots of insects and humidity. The best bet for those bringing a boat is to rent a slip at the nearby marinas (5 min drive). You can park on the sand or anchor out during the day if you find a good spot on the beach. I recommend bringing a good wagon (or a golf cart) to haul things up and down. The water was wonderful! Great trip overall.
First, the communication with the property manager (Cristy and Neal) was exceptional. I had some questions that were over and above the property listing and their response was quick, positive and accommodating. The property itself was as advertised and convenient to lake access as well as Denison (we had events in both locations). The property was immaculate and well equipped. No surprises - which may be the best endorsement of all! We utilized both indoor and outdoor facilities and felt at home. Highly recommend this property if it fits the needs of your family.
We had the most wonderful, relaxing and refreshing weekend! The house was warm and inviting. Everything we could have needed was there. They really did think of everything when they stocked the house. The beds were so comfortable! Our host was amazing and answered any questions we had and gave us such wonderful tips for things to do and see. We spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the wonderful view and perfect weather and even saw a turkey!
We will be back for sure!!
Thanks again for everything!
We came to the area for our Thanksgiving holiday, the house was perfect! It was clean, spacious, and very accommodating! Communication with Cristy was great!
A perfect location for my friends and family to relax for Thanksgiving. Lots of room to mix and mingle inside and out. Two smart TV’s for watching movies and football and large kitchen/dining area for Thanksgiving eating. The dogs enjoyed their walks with a view of the lake. We could not have asked for a more perfect Thanksgiving and hope to return next year.

No hot tub
No hot tub, not lake front, the house was not cleaned. There was dog hair everywhere and cat hair on the dining table and place mats. I am allergic to pet dander and dog/cat hair so to have pet hair all in the bed and on the floors to point I could not even wear my socks due to allergies was unfortunate. I really tried to give the benefit of the doubt considering the hot tub was out of order and not working which was the main reason I chose this property. My husband and I have rental properties as well so I’m familiar with how things should be set up for guests. There were other things but I will make sure to offer photos to the owner as needed. Overall this was just an unfortunate experience. I hope the next guests have a more pleasant experience.
We really enjoyed staying here this week! Lots of space, nice patio with hot tub, short walk to the water where we beached up the boat!! We will definitely be back! Thank y’all!
Had a nice relaxing time stayed at the house and hung out on the back patio and the hot tub. The lake access was a little steep to access for us so we just hung out at the house. Overall a nice relaxing weekend and the house was great and comfortable.
