The flat was really lovely, very clean and quiet. The area felt very safe and there was a view out of the balcony to the woods...very peaceful. The host gave clear instructions and everything went very smoothly.

No coffee pot, love seat has springs poking up. Felt cold and damp, perhaps it’s just that way in Portland. No throws to cover with while watching tv. It was a quiet place, but too much light during the day, no lamps for evening.
Super cute A B&B perfect place for a granny flat. So much better than a hotel. The only thing it needs is a full length mirror. Hosts, didnt see them, kust a very sweet place. If we come to Portland again, this is where we will stay.
This was the perfect spot to stay while visiting my college age daughter over Thanksgiving. She loved the window bed and the kitchenette had everything we needed to makes a Thanksgiving dinner.
We stayed here for a couple weeks while we were in transition to our new home in Lake Oswego. Great quiet location to food and grocery. It was very comfortable for my little one who is active, during a short snow storm (2 days). I appreciated the indoor stairwell and the close parking to the VRBO, for that reason! Thanks for the stay!
This is a great little place to stay. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area. My favorite spot was the window seat/day bed and little library. One suggestion would be to maybe add a Fire Stick or Roku to the TV.
Check-in information and process were flawless. The flat is located above the family garage with a private entrance and balcony. Pretty forest views, complimentary Keurig w/pods, well stocked kitchen (utensils, plates, cups, glasses), and a nice spice cabinet. Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing 5 night stay!
We really enjoy this cute place. Very clean and functional. Perfect for what we needed. My only negative feedback is it has one window AC and it was just too hot. I wish it had a way to keep it cooler.
This property is awesome EXCEPT for the mold! It is extremely moldy. Some people are more sensitive to mold than others, but it is toxic for everyone. The poison is in the dose. And this place has a big dose of toxic mold (all indoor mold is toxic). Most of the mold is not visible. Mold grows in darkness - in the attic or inside the walls or under the carpet.

Our unit has passed every inspection and the attic and walls have actually had the insulation redone, so we know for certain that there is no mold. No other guest has ever made any such statement.
Visiting Oregon for the wedding of one of our granddaughters, my wife and I stayed at the Granny Flat in Leafy SW Portland. The flat is located on a cul-de-sac, so traffic is minimal, and the location quiet even though the flat is just a few minutes from the freeway. The one bedroom apartment itself is quite spacious and comfortable. The kitchen area is efficient with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. The stacked washer and dryer in the bedroom is handy for small loads, reducing the amount of clothing one needs to pack. Individuals with mobility issues may have difficulty with getting into and out of the shower/bath, but, otherwise, the bathroom, like the rest of the flat provides ample space. If you are just de-stressing, rather than adhering to an agenda, as we were, there is ample reading material and board games, with a large TV. While there is a balcony overlooking a wooded area, there was no readily available seating, unless you bring the dining table chairs outside. A Fred Meyer’s is 5 minutes away, and if you are a foodie, there are at least a half dozen ethnic restaurants 5-15 away. Over all, our stay was pleasant and peaceful.
