Set in the hills above Dry Creek Valley, this house is a glass and steel house made with prefabricated materials that sits on 80 acres.  Featured on the cover of San Francisco Chronicle Magazine and Interior Design, this green home built by architect Olle Lundberg, has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large pool and loads of landscaped play areas including a boccie court.  

The view into the vineyards, valley and Mayacama mountains is unsurpassed in Sonoma County and the back patio and fireplace is a perfect place to enjoy the wine you brought home from the neighboring wineries in the valley below.  Just a ten minute drive through the most beautiful vineyards is Healdsburg.  A charming little Sonoma town set on an old-fashioned square that has been transformed into a food-lovers paradise by several award-winning restaurants including Doug Keane's Cyrus, Charlie Palmer's Dry Creek Kitchen and many more.    From the unbelievable organic farmer’s market to the big band in the squaw.

Amazing views and amazing place

We are so appreciative of the house and the long weekend. We loved the home and it’s proximity to some of our favorite wineries. We were able to visit Foley, Tratorre, Ferrari-Carano, Jordan, and Silver Oak and still browse the area and enjoy the beautiful home. And the bonus of being up the hill from the fabulous Dry Creek General Store! (Beef brisket sandwiches to die for!) Barn Diva was delicious as well and Dukes bar was a nice nightcap! Going back each night was such a wonderful way to end each day. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you!

This is a lovely house and built to entertain. But there are some details needed to really live up to its price point. Sleeps 10...only 8 plates, and 4 coffee cups. Really? The router required resetting several times per hour. No TV. None.

This is an incredible house with gorgeous views of Dry Creek Valley. Everything in the house worked well, everyone was very comfortable in their large rooms. Great house for a birthday weekend!

Somehow everything went wrong with the pool.We were unable to continue our vacation as planned.Loved the house for the most part.The views were spectacular.And the air conditioning worked really well.They offered sheets & towels & blankets which was a plus.The bathtub was lovely.

Spectacular Property with Spectacular Views!!

Everything about the property and location is great! Wake up to amazing sun rise views! Beautiful views to enjoy over the valley in the evenings. Great kitchen and community space to enjoy company and cook dinners while on trip - while still looking at the amazing views. Could have had a little more proactive communication on how to use the property. We had to ask for the address the day before when planning directions. There was no instructions on how to access things like internet, music system, how to leave the place behind, etc. No instructions at all. With a day advance notice we could have had pool heated. But there was no communication about this and we found out too late only after asking. While these were not major things that kept us from enjoying the house. We did find it disappointing and feel there could be improvement here. Overall would highly recommend this place. The owner was responsive once we got there. Would go back knowing to make these inquiries ahead of time.

A relaxing space with wonderful views

We enjoyed staying at this home for our Christmas celebrations. The views were spectacular! It was also a great spot for a toddler because it was easy to watch her run around the large main room without having to follower her around and put down what I was doing. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome property

Fantastic modern home, amazing views. Thoroughly enjoyed with 5 couples; great space to hang out, enjoy company. Only comment is that noises travel in the house, but that is expected since the bottom floor is essentially one single room :)

Great Location -- Great View

Property was exactly what we were looking for, for an extended family gathering. Quiet, and remote, but easy access to places/vinyards we were interested in as well as the valley. Great for morning walks.

Awesome home, spectacular views, close to Healdsburg

This home is spectacular in every way. As you approach it on the winding road, you see it perched at the top of the hill. That initial view is breathtaking. But nowhere near as breathtaking as the view from the home of the surrounding valley. We stayed here for four nights of our guys' golf/cycling trip, then were joined by our wives for three nights. We had a great winery tour led by Tim Krause from healdsburgexperience.com who picked up our group at this home and dropped us off when we were done. (No driving!) I can't say enough great things about this home as well as Leah and the team who manage it. The home was spotless and the reservation/transaction process was flawless. Highly recommended.

This home is paradise!!!

An incredible view of the entire valley, a wonderful open, airy interior, and very smartly furnished. A fantastic pool. Bring your friends and you may decide you don't need to go anywhere, the place is that perfect. Definitely plan to return again.

Mind Blowing

As you drive up the road and see this amazing house on a hill looking only as if a dream wondering who might live there and stating how lucky they are, that moment when you realize that is your house for the weekend. Our group all went crazy with joy, the house is so amazing you almost want to forget your wine tasting plans and just stay in. It's all the photos crack it up to be and more. We had a wonderful time and made memories that would last a lifetime. It's a little pricey but worth every penny.

loved, loved, loved!

spectacular property - very kid friendly. we had 8 couples and 4 toddlers. there's an amazing area right outside the main space where the kids could play and the pool was a bit further away so you didn't have to worry about the pool. also note there are lots of umbrellas at the pool so plenty of shade. truly fantastic! plenty of space, very well equipped (all the pots and pans you could want), and just an outstanding experience. one of the prettiest properties I've ever seen!

Exceptional Property

How do I describe this place -- AMAZING! I rented this property for a weekend trip for my company. I was blown away once I started driving closer to the property. There was always this one house I could see amongst the hills of Dry Creek Road that stood above the rest, but I didn't know it was my rental! The road leading up to the house was very secluded. Once atop the hills, there was this beautiful, modern structure in front of me. It was elegant in all its simplicity. It has everything I needed and more. Gorgeous grounds with a pool that sat probably 100 meters from the house, and every bedroom was very private. I couldn't have been more pleased with the space. It was relaxing, yet close enough to all of the wineries to make for a great stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, however I hope this doesn't make it impossible to book in the future. Want to keep my little secret :) Thanks for a great stay!

Exquisite

We celebrated my husband's birthday at this gorgeous home in Healdsburg. Every detail was absolutely exquisite from the breathtaking panoramic views to the spectacular living spaces and bedroom/bath accommodations throughout the house. We particularly enjoyed the pool, patio and bocce ball court. Shana was incredibly helpful as was Scott, the caretaker, who attended to our every need. A five star experience in every way.

The Perfect Retreat

My wife, daughter and I rented this home for my daughter's April vacation. We were looking for a property with convenient access to Healdsburg and the vineyards of the Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys, but also for privacy and comfortable space for lounging. This house exceeded our expectations in every regard. To begin with, location is fantastic. The house is indeed very convenient to Healdsburg and sits just up the hill from some the region’s best vineyards - the private road leading up to the house winds through the vines and past the tasting room of the Lambert Bridge Winery. The glass fronted side of house offers an 180 degree view of the valley and the hills beyond. The lush green hills on the remaining sides offer complete privacy for the house and the pool area. Opening the door for the first time, we were captivated by the house’s architecture (the website photos don’t do it justice.) The house is entirely framed in steel, clad in corrugated metal and sits directly on the finished concrete foundation. This simplicity highlights the enormous windows, incoming light and views in every direction. The open main room is organized around a 40 foot central atrium and spills easily onto the patio, lavender patches and bocce court. The kitchen is well equipped, the seating areas are contemporary and comfortable and the dining area perfect for enjoying the valley view. Wifi and an excellent sound system worked without a hitch. While we did visit vineyards and ate a few times in town, the highlights of this particular vacation were sitting by the pool, cooking on the grill, having a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace and waking up to sunrise over the valley. Whether for a small family retreat or a multi-couple gathering, we would recommend this property without reservation.

Breathtaking views, peaceful setting

The house is perched on top of a hill overlooking vineyards of Sonoma and the town of Healdsburg. Incredibly peaceful and gorgeous setting. Open floor plan on the main level with massive floor to ceiling windows to take in the spectacular view. Decor is lovely - both modern and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard for après-wine tasting/pre-dinner cocktails. Pool is secluded in a lovely garden landscaped setting. Feels like a home, not a vacation rental. Impeccably clean. Highly recommend.

Amazing wine country weekend at beautiful home

This home is absolutely gorgeous. As soon as you pull up to it your jaw drops. The views are simply unmatched. Sitting on the patio at the outdoor fireplace looking out over the entire dry creek valley will make you want to never leave. The house is an architectural wonder. It's modern design blends with the Healdsburg aesthetic in a perfect way. This is the perfect vacation house for everyone from a couple to a family to a group of friends. You'll have a memorable time taking a dip in the pool, cooking in the amazing kitchen, or just enjoying a glass of wine in one of the deck chairs. You'll never want to leave the house, but if you do you'll find the most amazing vineyards, restaurants, and everything the town of Healdsburg has to offer. We also biked out to Lake Sonoma and rented a boat and took a hike. If you're into cycling this is where you want to be (you can even bike from winery to winery). This house will just blow you away. The pictures don't do it justice--it's better than it looks! I'd highly recommend it!
