One of the more unique properties you will find! The old Kingston High School has been restored into a residential space for events and vacations. Your accommodations will be one of the best parts of your visit to the Silver Valley. Just off I90 in North Idaho. For the fisherman: the CDA River is across the street. For the skier: Silver Mtn Ski Resort and Lookout Ski Resort is within 10 & 30 minutes. For the adventurer; thousands of miles of 4wheeling, snowmobiling, biking, and hiking in all directions. Multiple golf courses and casinos nearby as well! Families and group friendly. 1000sf auditorium is perfect for events or large groups! Trailer/RV parking for an extra fee. Owner keeps an apartment on one side of the building, but there is no shared space. Owner's apartment is separated by a locked door, and is used sparingly.

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely loved staying at the Kingston School! Our grandkids had a blast and couldn’t wait to get back in the evening to play school. The location was in the middle of the sights we wanted to see. We will definitely be back.

Cool Reclamation of Historic Building

We enjoyed our stay in The old high school. It is very close to the river and spacious enough for several travelers. To improve it - I wish it had an oven/stove and more outdoor seating options.

This unique historic schoolhouse takes you back in time. We enjoyed the firepit, the spacious gymnasium and old wooden stage. We did karoke and set up our projector. We cooked breakfast. Ate at historic snakepit.

Such a unique place! It was very cool to see the historic artifacts from the old school. The location was very convenient, 10 minutes to Kellogg / Sliver Mountain ski resort and waterpark. Everything was just as described, and we found everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Our friends bailed and we ended up having the whole school for just the two of us. We slept in the Study Hall. I wish there were a dining table closer to the kitchen and it was a bit odd to have both bathrooms off the study hall, but it worked well for us. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Overall we had a great stay!
