Great option for Ann Arbor. Easy check-in with door code. Fully equipped kitchen with K-cups for coffee convenience. Nice to have 2 full bathrooms. TV has an infinite amount of channels. Plenty of off street parking. We did not use the gas grill but it was available. Kids loved park with playground equipment and basketball court about 50 yards from the house.
From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with all the essentials to make our stay comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, providing clear check-in instructions. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality. Highly recommend this place.
The property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family stay. The open layout kept our family engaged while we were there. The house was close to everything and easy to get to. I will be back in Ann Arbor again as my family is there and will definitely attempt to stay here again.
Great location on the West side of Ann Arbor. The house has clearly had some nice recent updates although some of the fixtures appeared to be in need of some attention. I want a fan of the foam mattress, but that might be a feature for some. Had an issue with the front door lock, but the owner was responsive. Overall a solid low key place to stay in a great A2 location!
This house was very clean, affordable, and in a convenient location in the west side of Ann Arbor close to I-94 and also campus. The same cost as a hotel with vastly more space - perfect for a traveling family of 4.
Only issue (and this is very minor) is that the listing indicates that the house is on Liberty Street, when in fact it's on Liberty Road, just west of the point where Liberty turns from Street to Road, which made locating the house on a GPS a bit confusing at first.
Would stay here again when visting from out of town.
Flipper property nightmare in a very good location
The good:The place was clean appearing and mostly smelled clean. No obvious stains. The location was perfect with easy access to anything needed and wonderful running areas. Property owner was responsive. The bad: The house is clearly a flipped property with poorly done/unprofessional repairs and safety concerns.
The main front entry had a large enough gap between the door and the frame that one could clearly see through it into or out of the home. Not all the windows had curtains and the blinds could not be shut, making it difficult to darken the place enough for comfortable sleep. The fixtures on the walls were not properly secured and risked falling off with light use-this includes the toilet paper roll holder and towel holder in the front bathroom. The shower head in the front bathroom was poorly attached and flew off as the water started up and could not be replaced since it was clearly originally held in place with plumbers tape, super glue, and luck since the shower head was obviously broken and should not have been in use. Most of the faucets were set in reverse and so hot comes from the cold marked space and vice versa. Since the front shower near the main bedroom was out of use, we had to use the rear bathroom where we found that showering here caused an overwhelming smell of sulfur to build in the home. The sheets smelled like they were left in the washer for a few days, then dried and put on the bed. Dishes were not put away for use but left in washer.
We were staying in Ann Arbor to be close to the hospital for a family member who had surgery. The house was a great location for that purpose. The host is an excellent communicator and all was accurate as depicted in the property details.
