Nice neighborhood! Thank you for the prompt communication. Great job creating a relaxing and spacious place for others to enjoy. The beds were comfortable and coupled with the blackout shades, offered a great nights sleep.
Charming home! Everything was perfect. Home was comfortable and welcoming. We had everything we needed while we were there, and the hosts were fantastic.
This was such a beautiful residence. Very homey with plenty of room for the 3 of us who were there to work on our hobbies and catch up on each others lives. We were successful! The host was very responsive to our questions and followed up later to see how things were going. A lovely quiet neighborhood was a welcomed change. Enjoyed breakfast at Hope Floats Cafe and lunch at Old World Bakery and Cafe. Would definitely stay here again.
This was perfect for the 6 of us spending a week in Round Top! Location was perfect and communication was on point!

You found one of our favorite things to do when staying in SV. We love getting up in the morning and either walking to the Olde World Bakery for breakfast or walking to The General Store for a latte!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a lovely review.

Thank you so much for the kind review and for taking good care of our little retreat! Your review should have been all stars in every category, but somehow I missed one star on cleanliness. VRBO will only let me delete it, not fix it. Please let me know if you want e to delete it!
We had an absolutely wonderful time! Everything was perfect from start to finish - booking the house was easy, the property manager was very responsive and shared timely and easy-to-follow stay/check-in/out instructions, and the house itself was perfect! Very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Having our morning coffee and hot chocolate in the screened-in porch was a great way to start our Smithville adventure. Highly recommend staying here - we'll be back!
Cute house. Although keeping the upstairs bearable was next to impossible. The air would revert back to 80 degrees if there wasn’t movement and since we were not there during the day, it was hard to cool down at night.

Oh no!
I’m so sorry to hear this, especially because that is a brand new A/C upstairs! I wish you had let us know because we could have over-ridden the Nest from our app.

Almost everything about this property was great. The house is clean and well equipped in a historic area. The a/c and heat worked well. The location is very walkable to nearby downtown Smithville. Two issues: the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are a bit of a challenge. They're narrow and spaced closely. Just be careful! The double bed in one of the bedrooms upstairs needs replacement. It is terribly squeaky. The couple that slept on it did not have a good night's sleep.
