Our cabin is made of local white pine logs fit by hand. 3 bedrooms plus a semi-private loft with double bed (futon) sleeps 7 very comfortably. There is a pond directly in front and a big porch overlooking it. See the list below for more.

We are surrounded by mountains and bordered by a stream that you can hear from our small pond house, which is directly across the pond from the main cabin. The pond house has a nice covered porch, fire pit, hammock and more. The property has a great barbecue, picnic table, vegetable garden, and four acres of fields. Very nearby are waterfalls, hiking, fishing, Gilboa Reservoir/Minekill St Park. Villages of Stamford and Jefferson are nearby w/shopping, restaurants, taverns, art gallery, etc.

Nearby are also the historic villages of Margaretville, Roxbury, Andes for antiquing, country auctions, book stores, horseback riding, train rides. Day-trips to Howe Caverns, Cooperstown's Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, and Oneonta's Soccer Hall of Fame. For skiers, we are near four ski resorts, Windham, Plattekill, Bellayre, and Hunter.
