Surprisingly spacious w/13' ceilings, enjoy fantastic views of the Salish Sea, passing marine traffic, gorgeous sunsets, resident deer & eagles. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood and serves as a great home base to explore the Olympic National Park & the Olympic Discovery Trail or stay in and enjoy the stunning view by the gas fire pit.
The space
Located just 10 minutes from downtown Port Angeles, guests will enjoy easy access to Hurricane Ridge, the ferry to Vancouver Island, Olympic National Park, the Olympic Game Park, Lake Crescent or Salt Creek State Park, among others. There are nearby high-quality grocery stores and plenty of excellent restaurants. It is a 5-minute bike ride to the Olympic Discovery Trail, where you can bring your bikes to enjoy a peaceful bike ride or enjoy a nice nature walk. Olympic Cellars Winery and various lavender farms are just minutes away as well.

Equipped with an abundance of amenities (including A/C, USB ports, an amazing deck, high speed wifi, a new smart TV, a sound system, a gas fire pit, original artwork, snacks and a hair dryer), our tranquil home is the perfect place to rewind, relax and enjoy all of what the PNW can offer.

THE SPACE:

The Bluff Perch is the ideal location up to people that are looking to experience what the Olympic National Park and Port Angeles has to offer. While Port Angeles is relatively small, it's a vibrant community filled with a lot to do. There are specific recommendations of our favorite shops in the Guest Book at the home or feel free to reach out!

Our property is thoughtfully furnished with our guests in mind. Each room has been designed in a way to maximize our guests' experience and to provide everything they need for a rejuvenating and well-rested stay. Some top amenities include:

1) Waterfront house with fantastic views perched 175 feet above the Straight of Juan De Fuca / Salish Sea (no water access)
2) Main bedroom on 1st floor with queen bed. The second "bedroom" is a loft with both queen and twin beds (U shaped divided by stairs). The upstairs loft sleeps 3 and is about 4.5' high, so an adult can walk stooped. The view from the loft is one of the best in the house.
3) 2 outdoor fire pits – one gas one located on the porch and a wood burning firepit for seasonal outdoor fires
4) Private outdoor deck, seasonally with outdoor dining table and two high quality Adirondack chairs
5) Brand new smart TV in the living room
6) Gas BBQ grill + fully stocked kitchen
7) Both indoor and outdoor games
8) Custom made original art and hand crafted live-edge tables

You will find family friendly items including puzzles, coloring books and board games. In addition, there is plenty of space in our private backyard for more activities including corn hole (look in gray storage bin) and a large connect four.

The modern home offers a full chef’s kitchen with a 5-burner gas range, a fridge with filtered water and an ice maker, a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, a spice rack, a Keurig with coffee supplies as well as tea, hot chocolate, popcorn and energy bars, under cabinet lighting, well maintained ceramic non-stick cooking pans & utensils and salt, pepper and olive oil. Enjoy your dinner or set up your office on the gorgeous Padauk live-edge table, custom-built locally, or get comfy on the couch in front of the smart TV in the living room. The Wi-Fi is strong, so stream from your favorite app or work from "home".

Guests rave about the unforgettable experience they have here.

Wonderful house with an incredible view!
We loved our stay in this house near Port Angeles and would certainly recommend to anyone visiting the area! It was a perfect introduction to the Olympic Peninsula and a good home base to explore Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, Port Angeles and Port Townsend. The house is small but efficient and had everything that we needed, including washer/dryer, a well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and blankets, seating, games (we loved the giant connect 4 game on the deck!), books about the region, maps and even binoculars for watching the birds and boats from the backyard. We spent mornings and evenings on the large deck overlooking the water, and were able to utilize the grill for dinner one night. Both the grill and fire pit have a gas line running to them and were super easy to use. Owner was quick to respond to a question that we had about check-in, but we didn't need to get in touch with them the rest of our stay, because everything else was so perfect and we had everything that we needed.

My passion as an artist and a property manager merge in these projects, creating spaces you will love. My husband is a landscaper by trade, and building the outdoor spaces surrounding the homes is his passion. This was a true labor of love, with much of the art being done by me (the seahorse triptych), my family (the sculpture of the man looking out the window, the wall sculpture by the coat hooks and the fish mobile) or were commissioned, custom made pieces (the tables, the triptych of the fish in the Salish Sea).
