Relax in oceanview home with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Inverted floor plan to maximize the ocean views.

There are 2 oversized, covered decks with plenty of comfortable furniture to kick back and enjoy the spectacular ocean view.

Oversized gourmet kitchen with granite counters and island is a perfect spot to enjoy that happy hour drink. Kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances and all the comforts of home.

Master has a 55" flat screen and other 3 bedrooms has a 42"flat screen TV mounted on the wall with HD. The great room has a 12 foot vaulted ceiling with a 55" HDTV with full surround sound, blue ray disc player, and outside deck speakers.

Outside hot and cold shower to wash the sand away. Short walk to easy beach access just across the street.

Master bedroom with king bed and full master bath. Second and third bedrooms share a buddy bath and have 1 king bed and 1 queen bed respectfully. Second floor bedroom has 2 queen beds and has a full bath with private entrance. Great room has a queen size sleeper sofa.

Great place

The location of this property was great close to beach access but street wasn’t busy. Stairs will give you a leg workout but still a great property. View is excellent

Beach getaway

Very good experience. Location perfect; just 1 block from a beautiful beach; house in very good condition and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Beach chairs, umbrella, children toys getting a bit rusty. Biggest complaint would be the beds, a bit soft and lumpy.

Great time

We had a great time! Hurricane Debby was a bit of a bummer but the house had everything we needed and Mike was extremely responsive to any/all questions. The house is very close to the beach. There’s plenty of parking and it’s very easy to get in/out when you want to do things outside of the house.

Great Beach House!

Beach house was wonderful. The bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect for our family. Walk to the beach was quick and easy! The upper porch was our hangout space looking out over the ocean even from the third row! Don’t hesitate on renting this home for your next vacation.

Lovely week

We had beautiful weather and an overall wonderful week in OKI. The home was nice, especially the top porch. Lower porch had wasps that we had to spray after a family member was stung. A water spigot outside other than in the shower is much needed. The upper master was converted to a room with two beds which eliminated use of the closet. We would stay here again.

The house was bright,clean, comfortable and absolutely perfect for us! It only took us until we were unpacked to all agree that we wanted to stay here next year! Appliances were clean, cookware was like new. Everything was stored in the kitchen in nice order easy to access

Great family vacation

We loved the house! It was well stocked and clean. The porch was our favorite spot with the view, breeze and shade! The beach was a 5 minute walk with plenty of chairs available from the owner. We had great food at Island Way, The Barbeque House and Provisions is a must! Publix was close. You can’t miss a wonderful experience.!

Thanksgiving 2023 was a Success at Breezy Wheezy

The cleanliness, open spaces, upgraded plumbing and appliances all make this stay one that was truly enjoyable. Having stayed in other house of similar design with disappointing interiors and descriptions that did NOT match the reality of the home, we found this house to be exactly what we paid for. The home was clean when we arrived and checkin was clear and successful as was our checkout. The rooms were just as described and the updated bathrooms made for a wonderful experience. Location from the beach was very doable and the views even back where we were (only 1 1/2 blocks away) were divine. While we did not use the TVs in the bedrooms much, having them there for our adult children was GREAT! We did not use the cots but we did find the toppers to be helpful with some very hard mattresses in the bedrooms. But that did not stop us from really enjoying this wonderful open, clean, and modern home. I would recommend the drapes be screwed into studs on the walls as we noticed some were dragging from being pulled so hard over time. We would definitely stay at this clean and open home again!

Great location with views

House is one block from beach access and you can see the ocean from the top level deck. There are no bathrooms anywhere on beach so close access to the house was great. We saw dolphins everyday from our deck. It’s not on the main road, so it was quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only negative was the mattresses are showing age. Overall, it worked wonderfully for our crew.

Great location, excellent house. They had everything we needed from the fully stocked kitchen to beach toys/chairs. Everything was very clean and we loved the ocean view from the balcony! The host was very accommodating with our requests and we would definitely stay again!

Loved the Ocean View

We loved sitting on the top porch and looking at the ocean and cooking in the spacious kitchen with an ocean view as well. It was a very short walk to the beach which was great with 3 little kids. There were beach chairs and lots of toys for the grandkids.

Great location, relaxing home

Enjoyable week with family. We didn't move our vehicles for 3 days just hanging out in this cozy house with plenty of kitchen room to fix a big dinner. House comes with a charcoal grill that served up some great steaks. The location of the house allowed us to walk to the beach and to the pier, where also our new favorite restaurant is located...The Island Way. I recommend the Seafood platter. You can drive down the back roads to the Publix as well which was a huge plus. The house has comfortable beds, and very nice bathrooms, as well as great decks to sit on in the mornings and the evenings. I will definitely stay there again! The owner Mike was very quick to respond when I asked a question. Great experience!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was in a great location for beach access. Our favorite part would have to be the upstairs porch area. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and seeing the ocean in the distance.

A fun time at Oak Island!

It was our first visit to Oak Island and we enjoyed our location close to the beach but on a quiet road. The porches were a great place to gather and the living space comfortable! We had a great time!

Steps away from the beach!

For those who daily track their steps, it is less than 350 steps from the kitchen to the beach! The view from the top floor balcony is beautiful and relaxing - especially with the breeze. Our entire family had the most relaxing and rejuvenating vacation ever. The house provided space for every family member to do whatever they wanted - reading, playing board games, napping, cooking…. And the kitchen is so well stocked with all you need to cook for a family. Thanks Mike! It was truly a wonderful vacation and you are a great host!

The house of many steps.

The house of many steps was very nice As I’m 80 the steps were a problem for me. The others in our group managed well Simple to rent ,was as advertised,contact with owner was easy. Had light problem and the local contact came by and took care of it . The view from the upper deck was spectacular. Waves were heard at all times. The sky was blue every day. We have been to Oak Island many times . This was one of the top 2 . Thanks for a nice vacation. The Potters

I am a Physical Education Teacher in Connecticut and my wife is an IT manager. We have 2 boys ages 21and 24. We love to travel as a family and enjoy the ocean. I enjoy skiing, golf, and basketball. My wife enjoys skiing, the beach, traveling, golf, and shopping, not necessarily in that order. Both boys snowboard, golf, skateboard, and play basketball, and baseball.

Why they chose this property

We have been vacationing in the area for over 20 years, and always wanted to have our own place. We just decided to go for it!

What makes this property unique

We simply love the easy access to the beach and the wonderful views from just about every room in the house. Oak Island is a family beach and very quiet. However, if we want to take a short trip into Wilmington, or the Myrtle Beach area it is easy drive up or down Rt. 17. Oak Island has a wonderful town park with water splash pad, tennis, basketball courts as well as fields for playing ball and a skatepark for the kids.
